PS4/PS5 crossover ... thanks, SDS

Just want to compliment SDS on the fact that, unlike some games, the crossover between PS4 and PS5 is seamless. I didn't have to do anything crazy to get my PS4 profile over to my PS5 game. On several of my PS4/PS5 games, the profiles don't cross over, but no problem here. So tip of the hat to SDS for getting it right where others didn't.

It's also worth mentioning that this year if you buy the standard PS5 edition fro $69.99, you also get the PS4 version for free. I think last year you had to buy the Jackie Robinson edition for $84.99 to get both copies of the game. That's a welcome change.

Is it only the store that says that? Because for TS20 the store said early access on the standard edition but they refused to honour it, even though I sent them a screenshot of their own listing which stated early access.

It was an error on the store’s part. This year, like last, early access is only for the upcharge editions.

I'm going based on the description on the PSN store page (see below). I'm not sure if it applies to the physical versions, but it says right below the image and in the description that the PS5 standard edition at $69.99 comes with both PS4 and PS5 copies of the game. The PS5 standard edition also comes with 5 packs and an extra 5K stubs compared to the PS4 standard edition.

I wouldn’t be surprised if PS store stuffed it up. Wouldn’t be the first time. I’d recommend anybody who buys PS5 version keep evidence of the listing text and hold their ground if Sony refuses to honour it.
Having said that, Xbox X listing also says both versions so it might be ok after all.
