So you're a Trevor Story fan first, then a Rockies fan? Or were you accommodating the Rockies just for Trevor? Now I get why you didn't want him to go back to the Rocks.

Story first Rockies 2nd, this wouldn't be the case if the Rockies FO wasn't awful. I'll still pay attention to the team, but its hard to watch a team play when you know they have next to 0 chance of doing anything.

So you’re describing the life of an O’s fan. That would have been awkward if he went to Baltimore which would only happen if Angelos went off his meds and actually tried to build a winning team.

I totally get it. I live in San Diego who thought about winning the last few years (finally) and then at the trade deadline last year when they thought they were getting Max Scherzer, their big move to grab a pitcher which they desperately needed was Jake Marisnick?
It's not as bad now because they've tried to build a winning team but for most of my life they've been a minor league franchise better known as the PAAAdres.
Thank God my mom made me root for the Cardinals in order to live at the house and eat food. Some call it tough love or abuse but I just say it's true Fandom:)
(Ps: no I do not take child abuse lightly, no my mother was not evil, she just loooooved Bob Gibson).

Needless to say I'm happy, I hope he can get a ring here. I'll be buying a jersey as soon as they go on sale.
