128 separate recording sessions occurred, which included 350 recording hours and approximately 45,000 lines of audio. No wonder Boog and Singy cloned themselves in the video with Coach!Commentary systems have been redesigned for several major categories, including game intros, home run calls, post-play analysis, and more
A new conversation system has been implemented, allowing for more natural banter between commentators that seamlessly integrates into the live action of each game. Boog and Singy recorded a lot of their lines together to bring this feature to life.
Audio stitching enhancements increase the variety of both play-by-play calls and color commentary and improves upon player name by integration. An enhanced dynamic range of play-by-play calls has also been implemented to match the excitement of each moment.
Content captured from both real-life MLB broadcasts and MLB The Show-called commentary leads to a curated experience unique to each player.

Very Happy about this - listening to the same lines over and over got really annoying and listening to DeRosa is like getting stung by a pack of wasps lol

Yep. All ready. We were actually done last week, but the video stream in our streaming software wasn't broadcasting it. We had to re-encode the video, install fresh OBS and rebuild a scene in realtime. -

If you’re playing more than 2000 games a year (as some of us here are want to do), you’re going to hear LOTS of overlap.

Play by play & color will never be 100% like a real baseball broadcast, I'm just glad for any improvement.

Hopefully they able to patch the ability to select uniforms if they don't already. All other sport games we can choose road and home units. No excuses SDS make it happen.
