Can we get a legitimate game this time around in MBLTS22?! Online play in 21 has been trash with all the nonesense off pci hits , foul balls, bunt cheese, base running glitches & freezes. Offline play with RTTS is stale, franchise mode getting ABSOLUTELY NO love yet again And March to October is a total joke that nobody plays.
I used to love playing franchise mode for hours on MVP Baseball. I loved setting prices, upgrading my facilities and personnel. The show just doesn’t have that fun aspect to the game anymore. The RTTS and online competitive modes are meant to supplant that, but RTTS isn’t as immersive as we’d like and becomes boring. Also, the show has terrible online gameplay that just doesn’t make sense from a user input aspect & this just doesn’t cut itSDS needs a competitor in the MLB video game simulation market. Something to keep the company trying to create well made games instead of these year to year cosmetic copy and paste MLB games we’ve been getting. It’s shame. I remember the days of having 2-3 different Sports Titles to choose from and each title brought its own unique perspective in trying to 1-up each other. Now all we’ve seemed to be getting is a cash grab game that urges you to buy the price hiked pre-orders because it allows you a “collectors edition” or special players, extra virtual loot boxes (packs ) and virtual currency.
All in all, I bought ‘22because of Ohtani & I’m hoping for the sake of this Series Title that serious changes are made by ‘23, because , unfortunately MLBTS is looking more and more like a title I would skip going forward.

That's not really that many hours. I've played over 700 and hardly touch the game in the last few months and didn't play near as much throughout the season as I use to. Looked back at 16 and 17 and I was over 1100 hours on both.

DD is the only part of the game that isn’t too boring. Idk how many hours I’ve poured into conquests, showdowns or how many hours I’ve lost to freeze offs. But just the fact that I’ve logged these many hours in DD doesn’t doesn’t make online gameplay good… the offline gameplay seems fine, but in a competitive online setting, The gameplay is lacking and often makes 0 sense.
I miss playing ball and can’t play anymore due to multiple factors.I love the competition and This is the only form of ball I’m getting. I’ve played MLB video games for over 2 decades and just hate seeing how far sports video games have fallen since its been 1 company per sport producing simulation games. SDS seems to have good intentions, but the execution seems to fall short. We need more simulation baseball options. Keep the companies fighting for the consumer approval. The reasons i stopped buying Madden are what I fear SDS is heading toward. I just hope they turn it around before it’s too late. -

But lots of people pour hours into things they have love-hate relationships with. Calling out his time spent in the game doesn't invalidate his points.
- DD gets a ton of love, granted, but NOTHING ELSE does.
- Even though #1 is true, online is overrun with problems.

887 hours for me. That's way down from last year for me. 1554 hours in 2020.

677 hours is almost a full month
buddy if you just leave your PS5 on with the game - it keeps running - many times ill just leave DD on for hours and go do something else - have it set to the marketplace screen for example
