A Friendly Quit!!
-
My 1st yr playing in RS and I'm up bottom of the 8th 5-1 and the opponent offers a friendly quit..I denied it not knowing whether I would've gotten the win or not..Did I do right???I'm not trying to be a bad player with no etiquette..

Never accept a friendly quit if you are winning. A friendly quit is basically like the game never happened. Some people are sore losers and send those out hoping that their opponent will unknowingly accept.

You did the right thing. This was just a loser trying to fool you so they wouldn't get the loss.

I was winning my first RS game of the year 6-2 (and I was really starting to square the ball up)in the 7th inning, then my sewer backed up... So obviously I needed to quit the game. I offered a friendly quit sacrificing a pretty easy win, the dude did not accept. I got the loss due to time in the menu expiring, which was a bummer. SO, if you are probably going to lose then that is the ONLY time to accept a friendly quit because the person may have an emergency and are sacrificing a win for it! Other than that they are useless.
