Juan Soto has a very good stance and swing as well as good stats versus both sides. Blake Snell has a funky motion that is hard to read. Tatis Jr. is almost a 5 tool player and a glitchy swing.
Thanks man, I was thinking about Juan Soto too. Also, Olson on the A's. My OF is quite stacked atm.

I'm taking the plan forward approach here and collecting the FOtF card which will be easy to use to grind future releases in the Affinity programs when grinding innings against the CPU.
Carlos Santana can always find a spot o the field against CPU as a C, 1B, or 3B.
Tatis can and a spot as a SS, 2B, or 3B.
That AZ gold respect has 78 speed and plays C, OF, and corner infield spots. All three of these can find a place on my bench when it is time to upgrade. I refuse to sink stubs into players I am forcasting as bench bats.

Ohtani
Olson
Snell -
I haven't tried him but I hear Albies rakes even against righties

Carlos Santana cards always rake so I might target him for sure. Seems like Ohtani is a fav as well because he's a pitcher who can hit well. Thanks

Used Soto fotf in BR and he rakes so much I had to do nats affinity

Josh Bell, Carlos Santana, Blake Snell
-
Big, BIG fan of the Pirates Josh Bell. I've always loved Josh Bell's swing and it is even better this year. Don't even worry about his contact versus left-handed pitching, it doesn't even feel like it's that low in-game.
Also, a big fan of Fernando Tatis Jr. and Yoan Moncada. They were the first two I went after and they have lived up to that billing. I also am very intrigued by that Indians TA Carlos Santana; I have this plan on using Santana as a lefty-specialist in a platoon with the Show Classics Gary Sanchez.
So yeah, my choices are:
- 1.) Josh Bell
- 2.) Yoan Moncada
- 3.) Fernando Tatis Jr.
Honorable Mention - Carlos Santana
-
Moncada!

No problem. Olson and Bell both are awesome first basemen.

What would you say is the best way to grind out these team affinities? I am not good enough to complete the showdowns haha.

Hey all, I was wondering which team affinity's you guys would go for if you already have these players so far? Your top 3 after these? Thanks
Yankees - Gleyber Torres
Mets - Michael Conforto
Astros - Carlos Correa
Rangers - Joey GalloI've done Correa, Torres, Ohtani, Snell and Josh Bell. Working on Soto now.

I'd use the market to flip cards and try to buy multiples of cheap golds or highest level silvers to trade in. Honestly, that's how I did it plus I did every mission I could. The Mets were easy, I used Jacob DeGrom to nail the pitching inning stat mission.
Oh yea Showdown is fun and all but I can't beat it for some reason. I love doing the moments but you only get 1 shot to do them which sucks but makes the mode interesting.

Correa & Torres are freaking beasts! Correa is top notch in the field too. Torres is a little slow getting to balls up the middle but when he gets to them he usually throws out 99% of the runners.

Currently have Bell (wish I had of known about Sanatana before doing Bell lol), Torres, and Correa.
Trying to decide on Tatis (so I can sell Arenado) or Soto next as I need a power bat leftie in my lineup.
-
Has anybody got a chance to use that Santana card at catcher? Thinking of doing an Indians MTO
-
I went Devers, Buxton, Ohtani, Correa, Olsen, and just now Soto.. next up is Albies.
I have Larkin as my SS so just moved Correa to 2nd..

Tatis is the real deal. Glitchy swing hits tanks!
