so tough to get there. once you hit around 850 feels like you have to win 4 straight to get into WS unless you beat someone above 900. when you lose most of the time you lose more points you would get for winning.

If you can get to 832, you can make WS. Don't get too discouraged, just try to identify weaknesses in your game and focus on those. If you're dropping or jamming your PCI, take a day or two off from the game entirely. Trust me, it helps.

You’ve got it bro. This current season it felt like the longest that it ever took me to get to WS but I finally did. Like other posts have said, just focus on your weakness. Don’t be afraid to go to your bullpen early if need be!

in the same boat. I just made CS and now begins the grind to WS. but i told myself this is the last season before 20 because i want to play other games. I just take a no stress approach to it. i'll lose, i'll win. whatever the game cycle is basically over. i had fun this year. just working to get better before 20 comes out. thats how i'd approach it.

If you're a CS player or even a DS player you can make WS. Just need the right matchups to get to WS. I can get up there but with limited time this yr I can't get over the hump. I'm either playing somebody way better than me or RNG isn't on my side that gm.
When I was making WS in 17 and 18 I either got lucky with my match ups to get there or I was feeling gd and beat some gd players to get there.

Try hitting 886 and then losing to someone at 701.

I recently was in a major slump, made it up to around 870ish and then lost something around 10-12 straight games. I came across CBrev’s “3, 3, 3” strategy video. The very first game I used this I came out of my slump and have since made it all the way back almost to WS. Here’s his video if you want to give it a try, I highly suggest it and his other content for that matter.

That's actually not a bad plan. Especially vs people who dance around the zone

I’ve watched all his coaching videos. Seriously they are instrumental in playing the game better. It really is the little things that make good players play the best. Forget just hitting and pitching good. Matchups, how you set your lineup, plate discipline, feedback, all of it.

Didn't make WS. I'll try again this season. Season high was 797. Had a couple 4-5 game losing streaks. Just seemed everything pitched was crushed even out of the zone and I just couldn't match the offense. I had a 18k game with SS Sale and lost 6-4. I did try a few different things this go around. Currently adjusting my pitching staff for the All-Star games as opposed to the HoF games. Also going to really stick to some of the approaches that I felt worked. Thanks for the responses and encouragement.
