Ps, xbox, or nintendo?

There is probably no advantage in buying any one of these consoles in regard to MLBTS but since I can't get a Ps5 the thought crossed my mind to buy a Nintendo. Not even sure if it is in stock. I've always had PlayStation and probably will wait to get a 5.
Is there any difference in graphics? Is there a superior console? Advantages and disadvantages of each? I'm guessing it comes down to what other games people want to play.

I've seen the Switch in stores. I've never had one but I think they are a lot like the old PS PSPs. I can't imagine the graphics being as good as a console since it is a portable.
I can't lie...I've thought about getting one too so I can play while I'm on the road.

They are similar to the old PSP's yes, except you can hook it up to the TV without issue and play games in HD. Sure the games are better now with the advancement in technology, but when compared to the actual consoles, the switch lags behind.
That being said, as a mobile device, it's almost perfect....as long as you see it for what it is. A souped up mobile device.

I have a PS4, PS5, Series S, and Switch. The Switch is good for what it is. A solid handheld which can be docked and played on a monitor or TV with power on par with the Wii U. The tech is outdated in 2022. It's probably more appealing if you spend a lot of time playing outside of your home, which doesn't apply to me. I've enjoyed Breath of the Wild, Links Awakening, Mario Odyssey, Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Legenss Arceus, and a handful of other first party games. Any port to Switch is the worst version of that particular game. I couldn't recommend it as a primary console, but it's fine in short bursts. Its baffling to me that Nintendo still can't figure out online play and communication in 2022. If you're asking about The Show, Switch will likely be the worst place to play it, although I'll reserve final judgment until the game actually comes out. It may be worth while if you also have the game on PS or Xbox and just use the cross progression while traveling.
On a side note, Switch is essentially what Vita should have been. Sony even had the Vita TV. Why not just allow the standard Vita to hook up to a TV directly? So much wasted potential for that handheld.

I’m wondering what I should do. I have PS4 currently, but where I live PS5’s are impossible to find but they have XBOX Series S in stock, would you consider buying a Series S over PS5? For myself I would still keep my PS4, I’m just a casual gamer and once I move out I would plan to have 2 gaming consoles regardless.

The Series S is great as a Game Pass machine, although storage space is limited. I have an external hard drive hooked up, but that can only be used as cold storage for Series S or X games. It was my first Xbox, so I enjoyed getting caught up with a bunch of exclusives I had never played. Don't forget that there is no disc drive on the Series S, so you have to be comfortable with digital purchases.
I did play The Show on it a bit, but only when I traveled since the Series S is light and compact. It definitely played smoother on PS5, but those are difficult to track down. If you're more casual like you say, the Series S should get the job done, but for me personally I want to play Horizon, Spiderman, God of War, and the rest of the Sony exclusives I care about on the best platform I can. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with PS5 every day of the week. For 22 I probably will play on Series S since it is included on Game Pass, and I usually only play every other year anyway. I'll pop in every once in a while, but it won't be worth buying on PS5 unless it goes on a deep discount at some point.
If cost is a concern, you could get the Series S now with game pass, and then sell it if you ever eventually track down a PS5.

I'm probably going to just keep playing on ps4 until I can get a 5 now that I've read all the feedback about the switch. I like and am used to the PlayStation so I don't think I would be happy with a different console. I would wait until you can get a ps5.
