2 weeks in, still can’t start an online game

Back again with another post hoping it gets seen by the right person. We’re 2 weeks in, people have finished the event, people have finish the program, people have made it to World Series, people have went 12-0 in BR. And yet here i am, still not able to get into a online game mode because i get the “challenge failed error”. I’ve wrote multiple emails, made multiple bug reports, tried their “suggestions” from the first email i got back which didn’t work (of course i tell them no luck, and don’t receive an answer back). To make things clear i tried their check date and time on PS4 to make sure it’s correct, i used googles open dns like they said, and i’ve opened the suggested ports they said (after all that didn’t work i even made my PS4 the DMZ host). I’ve reinstalled multiple times on 2 different hard drives (went out and bought a new one thinking maybe it’s loading too slow to its timing out). I have 2 more ps4’s in my house (brother in laws and sons) both on the same GIGABIT internet connection as i’m on and they are able to get into online games just fine. If you search hard you will see there is only a very small minority that this is happening to, but it’s a huge problem. I’m missing out on so much content and not able to just play in general. I hope this gets noticed !!

I had the same issue - had my cable company come and replace a part and has been fine since. I know how frustrating it is and wish I had more help, but definitely your cable company

Can’t be, i have 2 other ps4’s in the house that are on the same connection as me. They work fine. If it was my internet neither of those ps4’s would work either.

Right $100 on the game, $92 on a new hard drive thinking that would help. And no help or response.

I can safely say it’s not a ISP issue.
I borrowed a friend’s extra PS4 and brought it to my house. It is sitting right next to my PS4. They are connected the same way, same speeds etc. The borrowed PS4 I can play every mode just fine and on my system I still can’t play Ranked, BR or events.

Well due to, you know, real world issues, they cancelled streams for now. I understand being mad at SDS for a horrible patch, but to be mad at them for not streaming is absolutely ridiculous

The devs on the boards are only responsible for reading and reporting bugs, as thats originally what this place was for. Ramones only job is to promote the game. If anyone still thinks he has anything to do with development they are dead wrong. Im guaranteeing they have seen the patch feedback. They wont fix it. I dont know why everyone continues to beat a dead horse year after year about gameplay when nothing will change. They do what they want

Can you get into any other modes? Conquest? Are you getting your Daily Login Rewards?
Yes i can play showdown, conquest, get dailies, and i can even play ranked online (the one in the play now section where you’s use real mlb teams) but anything in DD where u have to connect to someone else i can’t

Do you have an active ps plus ? Don’t know if that your problem but sometimes the easiest answer solves things.
