There are many who play this game and do not truly understand the game of baseball.

I am guilty of quick pitching, in the sense that as soon as the animation allows I choose my pitch and then throw. I rarely, if ever let my pitcher fully come set. My opinion is games are long enough, and most of my opponents don't seem to mind as they don't slow the pace and often do the same thing. As a batter it never bothers me.
That being said, if my opponent r2 holds batting I will slow down a bit.

All I'm saying is that if your pitcher is releasing the pitch within a second of getting it back from the catcher; THATS QUICK PITCHING
If your pitcher is doing the funky animation, which cause the announcer to say that he is slide stepping to counter the steal, that IS NOT quick pitching.
And if your opponent has to hold down R2 to get you to slow down: you're quick pitching.

Actually that is "pitching quickly". "Quick Pitching" is the term used for when a pitcher doesnt come set. Or when a pitcher thrown before the batter is ready. Its an actual baseball term. They dont have to be pitching quickly to quick pitch either.

ive said this before, and ppl get quite annoyed like about this topic. I dont understand how you rent ready to hit. its not that fast imo and you should be ready to hit. even if they slide step 1/3 of the pitches end up being meatballs or way too wild to even consider. especially in my case I probably have less than 25 stolen bases since release its advantage me

Have to add a "but" here..
But, don't be the @$$ that quick pitches when then pitcher comes up to bat! Always give a second or two to allow for the pinch hitter if they want it!

I use it too. Its easy and chilled. I've had 3 perfect games using pulse this year. You learn where to pitch with pitchers with low BB

Imteresting. I've not really tried it all that much. In past years I've found it to be very unreliable.

If my opponent starts that R2 bs I’ll become a human rain delay and make the game miserably long. That cures that toxicity.

If you’re pitching so fast that I have to decide to hit option as the last half inning is ending in order to pinch hit, you’re pitching too fast.
All of you guys saying you’re doing this to make the game go quicker need to remember that not everyone playing this game is 15-25 years old.
That’s one of the things that is actually cool about this game.
Who cares if I want more time? It’s not because I’m “not ready to hit”. I might be old enough to be your dad. The mlb the show world does not revolve around you.

Wait a minute, what do you mean? I dont think that is a thing according to most forum posters and YouTube and Twitch content makers. I thought it was always SDS fault? Just had another cringy YouTube post recently by some YouTuber lol.
