Yeah, you’re 100% right. I already accepted that as a fact, thanks to @eatyum_PSN I was able to come to terms with it.
It’s just unreal how bad the game plays out sometimes.

It’s frustrating.
Perfect hits should be at least a base hit IMO.
There are way too many HRs. For example I think Ken Griffey has about 80 hits for me and 40 of those are HRs. I don’t think that’s realistic.
They still haven’t fixed the stamina issue for pin point.
Freeze offs need to be a thing of the past. It’s a disgrace.

I will remember. That's the main reason to get 22. Quicker I can be done with 21 the better.

Don’t expect big changes. SDS tried competitive hitting in the tech test last year and got enough data to abandon it before launch. My guess is (and I played the tech test a bunch) that the data showed an enormous gulf between even above average and average show players to the extent that the median and lower would virtually never win against anyone but other like players.
You can actually see their abandoning of hitting modes really easily by playing vs cpu and switching between competitive, casual, and simulation. Trust me, you will not see a difference in DD.

How many of those have been in Shippett. One of the best parts about the last event was every game was in the City Center Field on HOF. Very noticeable difference between that and AS in Shippett every other game. Refreshing actually.

Haha I hated that park. But then again I'm a Shippett Special Specialist so yeah.

If this game is garbage, why do you keep playing it? Maybe he likes baseball, maybe it has the most realistic animations, maybe he already paid for it, maybe he thinks it will improve, maybe he doesn't have anything else to do at the time, maybe he just wants to pass the time, maybe it's the only game he owns, maybe he isn't interested in role playing or shooting games, do I need to keep going? I say, complain all you want, voice your opinion, that's how the game might possibly improve.
