I have wondered lately just how much a cover athlete matter any more in terms of sales numbers. The number of people buying a game based solely on who is on the cover has to be relatively small right?
Maybe for new players trying for the first time , for us the players who have been around you can put a picture garbage truck on the cover and it wouldn't matter we'd still buy that $99.99 version ......so I agree very small amount.

Just a plain old garbage truck no players involved lol for all I care the cover could be blank and I would still pony up the cash for it

I mean it's boring if you don't care about the game I sure it's like whatever who cares but since you're on a forum for the show posting I'm positive you do care and since that is true there's nothing wrong about putting the best baseball player we've seen since Barry bonds gracing the cover of the game that hosts the forum you're posting on bud!
