CAP/Ballplayer is still the best option. Honus aside from that if you don't do well with Tatis. I also love Crawford but his range is a bit slow for me. I prefer him at 3.

I'm the only guy that uses him, which is good for me and bad for everyone I play. The true best SS in this game is Ernie Banks. He absolutely crushes it, his defense is top notch, he's the best. Nobody uses him, I suspect because he has low speed. But come on guys, how much speed do you need for a homerun trot?

Very few people use him. I almost have him P5'd and there are only like 1,000 other people at that level. Compare that to the garbage hitter Fernando Tatis, who probably has 44,000 P5's by now.

Ernie Banks is the answer you were looking for when you made this post.

I need to give Banks another chance. I loved his 94 card on my Old School team back during TA 2 and 3. For some reason I just couldn't hit with Awards card. But I will try again.

You wont regret it! I just used him on a whim really, having struggled mostly with Banks cards in the past. This awards one though hit for me, and kept hitting and kept hitting. Hes not my most dangerous bat but hes rock solid. Low sinkers are his specialty - he gets enough lift to take those yard.

Still using Rollins. Hes amazing defensively, extremely fast, switch hitter, and is solid enough in both contact and power.

Yea I know it is kinda late in the year, but occasionally a RS game is fun. I tried Tatis but I am so awful with him. I play Turner there.

Seager - his range is limited but he rakes

Put him at 3B, imo he's the best third baseman in the game.

I have Chipper there and IMO Seager is better at SS

Ah okay can't go wrong there I guess. I love Chipper too but I feel like at this point in the game there are better options available, especially because the meta is right handed pitching and that's where Chipper is kinda subpar.

I use the Cal Ripken from the 1991 Tops set, i believe its 94 OVR. Ripken was my brother's favorite player. I remember trading that EXACT card as a kid. I actually still have that entire 1991 set although its not actually worth much.

Brandon Crawford would like a word.

Crawford is definitely in the same tier, matter of preference I guess.

For me the better defence wins it. I also happen to perform much better with Crawford.

Yeah the defense is a plus, but for me it's other way around. Seager is always one of my best performing players, all the way back to 17 when he had that glitchy swing.

If you haven't given Correa Finest a chance, he is a solid option. Great contact, good power his main downfall like Seager is speed, his defense is insanely good.

I like pairing him up with Arenado on that side. Nothing gets by.

I have Tatis there because for whatever reason, Im decent with his swing. Turner would be another good option. Honus is also solid and free. If you are ok with mediocre defense, I used Chipper for the longest time there, even though he is slower on the bases that I would like. Everyone loves Wander, but every game I used him he was a warning track power allstar. SS has a ton of options this year, but I really like to have some speed from my middle infielders.
