Man I hope they fix the pause times

You would figure this late in the game people would want to just play a game and enjoy it….nope. Pause, pause, pause, pause. Next inning clock goes back up. Pause, pause, pause, pause.

I get giving people the benefit of the doubt with the time but I feel like the more they pause in an inning you should be penalized more. First pause takes off 20 seconds, 2nd 30, 3rd 40 and so on.

The pausing in this game is truly shocking to me. It’s constant and people abuse it. If you’re not ready to play the game or you’re busy sending text messages maybe don’t elect to play…

I’m fine with it if they are making a change or warming someone up in the ‘pen. And if you really have something to do, either quit or at least send a message explaining why.

And what if your opponent has messaging turned off?

There is an element of truth to this however, making defensive changes doesn’t take that long. I would like to see it changed to a specific amount of time for 9 innings. No gaining time as the game progresses.

It used to be each time you paused you lost 10 seconds for every pause after the first pause of an inning. But for some reason they got rid of that penalty this year.

And fast pitching ...just ridiculous and all the freeze and the pre script game and the [censored] contact swing when they aim pci low left and foul high fb right it's really awesome and the bunt ridiculous animation where nolan arenado stuck to wait a bunt ...it's gracious and the non existing server and on and on and on this game was fun early on ...
