MLB the Show 2022 Minor League Edition?

Would SDS even consider a game just using minor leaugers since they couldn't use Major League players? Could they still use retired players who they have the rights for? Would they be creative enough to come up with enough content? Could I ask more questions?

This doesn't have a feel of a lockout that would put the season in Jeopardy. Think everything will be fine.

It looks like the MLB and the union are in agreement on most issues with biggest issues left being a new playoff structure (14 and 12 teams) and the raise in the CBT ($214M-$220M and $245M). It also appears that the MLB are letting teams go on with the international signing day (Jan 15) as planned and on time.

I truly think Manfred is horrible but even he isn’t dumb enough to let this season go to waste. MLB is hanging on by a thread and any type of labor stoppage would be the death knell IMO.

I don't think they will let go on much longer either, just wondering worst case scenario. Just an interesting thought on what SDS would do if it did.

I need some rudimentary explanation on this one. The bottom 15 teams were between 65 million and 149 million away from the tax last rear. Teams 9 -15 were between 26 million and 61 million.
Do players think raising the CBT is immediately going make every team spend more on players? All I see it doing is widening the gap between the top spending teams and the lowest. The Dodgers would easily spend more than 200 million more than the bottom teams (they almost already do).
At best it is a boost to the top tier free agents, allowing the Dodgers to sign even more of them, but it does not help the vast majority of the players

SDS would do what they did with 20. Old POTMs and no IE.
