What’s the point of having a team of lefties/righties ? You can make an unfair squad of switch hitters. Anyone agrees ?

I agree that I can make an incredible lineup of switch hitters, but then I wouldnt get to use Babe, Hank and the Iron Horse.

Or Griffey Jr, or Reggie Jackson

Well, the point is I don't want to use all switch, I want to play with who I enjoy, and if I face a all switch team, good for them, Idc having to face it.

Yes, of course you can definitely use all switch hitters and I'm pretty sure there is a 99 at every position at this point including some of the best cards in the game like Mantle, Rutchman, Chipper, Polanco, Wander, etc. Even Eddie Murray is no slouch. But like a bunch of people posted above, I prefer to play theme teams, era teams, division or league specific teams or whatever else I'm in the mood for and also, many of the best hitters are not switch.

    Babe Ruth Signature
    Lou Gehrig MS
    Trea Turner Finest
    Mike Trout Fake Finest
    Ken Griffey Jr. Ms
    Albert Pujols MS

And Hank, Mays, Vlad Sr. And Jr., Jackie, Boggs, Brett, Larkin who rips, Rosario, all of the juiced Postseason cards (although Tommy Edman is an awesome switch hitter), Bichette, Tatis, Freeman, Arenado, Donaldson, Both Bryce's, Salvy, Bellinger, Yelich, Gwynn, all the rad Finest cards and on and on and on. What would be the purpose in just putting together 1 solid switch hitter lineup after collecting hundreds of good cards?

I find at this point I hit better with righties, even against righties. I have a harder time laying off sliders/cutters at my belly button as a lefty than anything else in the game (excluding outliers).

Thanks for the self scouting report if someone plays you in RS or an Event! 🤪

Like that’s a secret. 90% of players have a hard time laying off those myself included!
