You can play an event and have no problem timing up the ball but jump to ranked seasons and it’s a different story. How can you have different timing windows from ranked, events, franchise, moments, etc…? Why would they make the timing windows different for every single mode? It’s inane…

I wondered if I was the only one that thought ranked had different timing windows. Idk if it's true but certainly feels like it.

Timing windows and pitch speeds should be the same no matter the mode and difficulty. The game should play the same if you are doing moments or ranked or events. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Agree. It’s so hard to find the right timing online especially after grinding the CPU. It’s ridiculous.

A 9-inning game in Ranked on AS: 4 runs on 9 hits.

A 3-inning game in Events on AS: 9 runs on 18 hits.

I kid. But yeah I’ve noticed a difference between the modes.

I totally feel the pain. You can normally tell in the first couple pitches how good of a connection you have for that particular game. A couple days ago I actually faced Maddux and it felt like the whole game I was playing catch up to the pitch and felt totally different from any other time I've faced him. Very next game faced Verlander and the first pitch was a 102 4 seam and it actually felt like I had more time to react than I was having facing Maddux earlier. Love the game but still frustrating that there is that much of a difference every other game.

I went back to MLBTS20 and played a few event games. I was murdering the ball everywhere. A few months back I played like 5 RS games and won them all, hitting left and right, homers, etc, etc.

Load up '21 and I was hitting maybe 1/3 to half the balls. This year's game really is god awful online. SDS ruined it. Pathetic.

They need to stop Fing with the game and just change the pci size between difficulties. It’s not that hard.
