After the final Inning Program; do you remember us SDS released anything that would be worth hoarding stubs?

The only cards I need/want right now are the remaining MA/TN players from the May-Sept MA programs, the weekly TN packs, two 2nd Half Heroes cards, possibly three Awards cards (if I need them for the voucher), Milestone Arrieta, and Signature Series Billy Wagner.

I have 2.3M in stubs. I can buy Wagner and Arrieta for about 1M total. I can also buy the two 2nf Half Heroes cards for about 360-380K.

That would leave me around 1M left.

I am starting to wonder if it's better to just buy the TN cards and not spend the time doing those Moments?

It took me about 2hrs to do all the April MA Moments and I still need to get the stats with Ohtani, Turner, Vlad, and Burnes to get to 98pts. Then I need to do the collection.

Just buy that timing; it will take me at least another 2-3 hrs per MA Program to get those done.

I can only play for 2-3 hrs a night now; so that means I won't get those programs close to finished for at least another 5 days. Not including any TN players I need for the collection(s).

Then I need to still do ALL 26 weeks of TN Moments. So that's at least another 20 days minimum to get those done. That means I won't get Griffey (by just grinding) until the middle of Jan. And that doesn't include if I still want to try to get the cards I need from the BR Rewind packs; if I don't buy them.

So, pretty much is there anything that you would think is coming out in the future that would want me to hold onto these stubs?

Or is it better for me to just buy everything and if I need the stubs later get them by playing with RIB or doing the TN Moments at my leisure and selling those cards off?

After 12/1 last year, the only new cards to debut were Event rewards (8 total). Ditto 2019.

(Warning: past performance is not a guarantee of future results.)

Look at it this way. If you buy the cards you need right now you get Griffey right away and can start using him. If something comes out later that you want/need you can just do the TN moments then and sell all the cards for a decent enough profit. It will most likely be a wash, and by then sellable TN cards will be so rare you might actually make more stubs than you spend today.

Get the card you know you want instead of waiting for the card that may never materialize. Traditionally there isn't much after the 10th inning, and anything that does come out isn't expensive.

I had 4 million stubs yesterday. I got lazy and just bought all of the expensive diamonds I didn't already have (99 Ripken, 94 Brett, etc.). I'm at 92 points in BR, so I'll pick up the expensive Jake card, and once I get Albert, I'll have all the diamonds except what comes out in the next Event. My main goal this year was to try and "earn" most diamonds, but with all the stubs floating around at this point, I just want to have them all now.

That is my very long answer. I should have said, "spend all your stubs".

Unlike Road to the Show up until 2019(?), you can’t take it with you to 22.

True and true. But I’m guessing since we don’t have Extreme yet this year, nor is there a “new mode” (moments in 19, showdown in 20) to spotlight, we’re not getting it.

Buy everything, you can't take it with you....I left '19 with over 1 million stubs I think. Flipping cards is so easy that you can buy what you need while also making stubs to buy what you want.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I have no idea why I'm holding into virtual currency that won't be worth anything when the new game comes out.

I'm going to see how close I can get to just buying what I need after I finish the MA Moments; since I'll get a few TN packs there.

you dont need to do all the moments/missions to complete, since all of them leave you 2 pts short and you have to do the collect= the collect is 15 pts,you only have to get to 85 to complete(86 with the way the points total)

I know. But the way I left it is that I got to 46pts just buy doing the first few missions. If I dont do all the Moments, for ex April, I don't get the Burnes card. This way I can have Ohtani, Vlad, Turner, and Burnes in the lineup at the same time and hammer out the stats needed in 2 Conquest games.

Hmm, now that I think about it I can probably get away without getting the last card and still complete the mission for the three other guys.
