Nationals Fans?

With all the recent cards with different jerseys on content (Griffey, Pujols) I was wondering. Nats fans do you guys even like the Bryce card in the Nats jersey? I feel like it was a pretty ugly breakup. Obviously you have rebounded well because of Soto but I'd be surprised if SDS puts his 99 in a Nats jersey going forward due to the assumption Nats fans hate him and Phillies fans only acknowledge him in the 3.

He's still one of my favorite players. I really don't think it was all that ugly honestly. They wanted to give him a contract like Bobby Bonilla so I don't blame him one bit for leaving.
Obviously winning the Series the very first year he was gone helped me keep him in good graces and while I would've loved Soto to have won the MVP Bryce deserved it just a little more and I'm happy he won another.

If any Nats fans actually hate him, they’re braindead. The nats shouldn’t have offered him such a garbage contract if they wanted him to stay. They didn’t win anything while he was there, but that certainly isn’t his fault. His best card should always be in a nats jersey since he had by far his best season with them.

Yea I didn't know how Nats fans feel about him. I obviously love him and think he's very likable but almost everything he does publicly he talks about Philadelphia so we're programmed to love him. I'm sure others find that annoying. But I didn't know if it was more of a Brian Dawkins situation where we wish him well and still loved him in the Broncos jersey or if it's like Ben Simmons where I hope he gets eaten by sharks.

Odds are very, very, very, very low that he ever has a better season than 2015 lol. He obviously still has some great seasons to come, but 2015 was legendary.

I’m an Os fan but I’m from the DC/MD area…we call it the DMV DC MAryland Virginia. I root for the Nats too but the Os were around way before the Nats. As for Bryce he’s still one of my favorite players. I thought of it as a business opportunity. Best of luck to the guy, maybe he will come to the Os next.

Why is everyone so hung up on what jersey is on the card? You can put him in any jersey you want in the game. I care more about the players swing and attributes.

I like seeing him wear number 3 not 34 but I agree for the most part.

On a random side note, to this day the only 1/1 baseball card I've ever pulled was a 2019 Topps High Tek Bryce Harper Gold Auto. I was in shock but the fact it was of him made it all the more stunning. Hated that it was in the Phillies uni, but whatever. On yet another random side note, I bought two boxes of High Tek that year. The other one had a 4/10 red Mike Trout auto.
And they haven't made High Tek since lol

Okay, I kind of get the number part. I guess I haven’t had any player in the game that I am a big fan of wear a number that I don’t associate them with. I noticed Reggie Jackson’s Yankees card wear number 9 in last year’s game instead of 44, but it didn’t really bother me. He isn’t my favorite player either. It was just something I took notice of.
But I still care much more how I play with a player. I believe you agreed on that. -
