I'm just gonna wait and hope he goes the way of Gehrig and Wagner. I realize it's the end of the year and not that many people will sell. I have no problem spending 1M on Trout but I'm hoping in a month he'll at least be a buy now option.

I know that. I was mainly referencing the people that put in Buy Orders.
99.9% of people playing RS will probably keep Trout when they make RS/get the 30 wins. Thus making the people wanting to just buy him have to wait until those players do both, giving them a possible dup to sell.
That means at least 1,538 (and counting) need to get 30 wins AND make WS if they want to keep Trout.
And even though selling him for 1M stubs is alot of stubs; 99.9% of the people that play WS already had an overflow of stubs.
Just saying that I don't see that number dropping significantly until the end of Jan.
Especially if this is the last, or next to last Ranked Seasons. (I could see them doing one more with Pujols as the reward).

Yeah you’ll have to get 30 wins to get him. Most people have a million stubs by now so I doubt many will be selling him.

This is all true. But the same was said about Wagner and Gehrig, everyone had a surplus, nobody would sell, sure enough, plenty of people sold. And there were 2 where as every single person will win Trout as there is no other choice. I get that it's the end of the game cycle so I imagine it'll take a while, but those who just wanna wait to buy will eventually get him. I'm in no hurry as I'm enjoying Griffey, Mays, Marte, Marte, Soto, Reynolds, Tucker, Ruth and every other rad outfielder they just released.

I want trout and have close to a million stubs but I just don’t care so much. With all the outfielders already out I’m in no rush. With Ruth,Mays, Griffey and Aaron already plus Tyler O’Neil, Mookie and Mantle, I’m having trouble getting these guys in. In addition to all the TA’s I’ve got a hefty logjam out there. Trout most definitely would start over Aaron for me, but it’s not the hugest upgrade.
I bat well with live series Trout. Just not really feeling it though, this late.

You summed it pretty well. I have my buy order in but not as excited as I was for any of the big ones that came before ( Mantle, Mays, Ruth, Aaron, Rosario, Jr.etc... I have them all at P5 ( Griffey is P4 but will be 5 soon) and can’t play them all now.

Orders reach an absurd amount for other cards too. It's insane

My order is in I am between 796 and 804. I just want the card, do not plan on ever using it. I have no issue waiting. 1 has already sold

I think some people will sell that card off who do not have 1m stubs and they will use the stubs to finish collections. Plenty of players that still do not have Griffey.

I don’t think you have to be good at math to count the small number of cards that will sell in the next few weeks. Should be easy to track through the app

This is likely the last RS with new rewards. I would be shocked if the last people in line currently didn't have him by Mid January at the very latest, more likely before
