Elston Howard won an MVP in 63 as a catcher. That would be a decent card to use. More opportunities for people to learn about past players is a good thing.

Reason why there are not currently more catchers of the nationality you mentioned is because either #1) SDS has not made personal agreement with those players or their next of kin for SDS being able to use their name & likeness. #2) SDS has not even considered those players to be of those to seek out rights to.

They have been targeting inner cities by funding little league teams and have urged black MLB players to take a lead role in those communities. Don't gaslight me. I just asked a question and would appreciate an honest answer without beating around the bush. If you didn't call me seditious, you still used the word while quoting me, so you are either calling me or something that I said, believe, or did "seditious."

We have plenty of Great SS so why do people need to ask for Jeter since his retirement is that asinine as well.

If OP would have left out the word black catchers and just mentioned the two players no one have a problem with that, There is nothing wrong with asking for more players or those players at a certain position. Some of you just like to argue to argue, Some of you probably argue with yourselves to hear your own voice.
