    Worth the buy?

Set a goal to hit 5 million stubs just because. Did last night now it’s time to buy some stuff. Late to the game, 7th Inning was my first…bought some to play catch up like Verlander, Vlad Sr, Arrieta, Lindor and the Finest to have just in case.

I know some have said they love Morgan. Willing to buy and try anybody at this point.

    Thanks!!

Personally I love him at 2B, great sneaky power, and so many low line drives that turn into triples. He and Lou Brock have very similar swings but Morgan is slightly better.

And the market is the only way to acquire now, correct? What was he? Inning boss, RS, BR?

I think Morgan was a 5th inning boss. He'll be available again assuming they do the rewind inning program this year.

He is very good but be warned that a lot of people do not like his stance because he stands right on the plate.

I’d wait and that’s from someone who loves Joe every year. His price is artificially high because not many picked him in the program and then those that did locked him up for collections. In Extra Innings they will almost assuredly re-release Boss packs and you’re better off waiting a month and getting him a lot cheaper. He definitely has a unique approach (crowds and very short) but that doesn’t bother me too much. That said, Mookie and now Seager are better plays at 2B and that’s before Finest comes out.

I would advise getting him and trying him out during the next event (prime & awards) to see if you like him..
IMO one of, if not the best card in the game last 2 years especially with so many RHP throwing outlier he turns on pitches the quickest with 99 speed, diamond defense and the platoon advantage

I’ve got him batting top of the order since last year & he’s officially The Captain of main squad

I think that quick swings are important against outlier. Morgan has a few things going for him. He is fast, has a quick swings and has power against righties. Plus he is one of the expensive Prime cards. If the big collection makes him a requirement to complete on day 1 his price will climb a bit. I feel we are not far from a program that let's you pick an inning boss or two as a reward

I am going to wait for the rewind programs to pick him up, his all star card does just fine in my reds theme team.

He is still my starting 2B. Totally worth it.

I ended up buying Morgan this morning and liking the swing a bit so far. Turned on a couple inner half FBs, barreled a few HRs.

Mostly play offline aside from BR for now so I’m just constantly rotating pieces in and trying them out.

Thanks for all the replies everybody!

I would think that because hes on top of the plate ppl would spam him inside, the cpu certainly does, and boy does he get the bat around.

He’s a great card. I’ve had him since his release, but rarely use it. Could be fun in the Prime event. Lots of better options out there, though. Seager, Betts, Robinson, Wagner, Biggio are all better options from the top of my head.

Met him in a Safeway store in the Bay Area. Saw his Giants home run that knocked out the Dodgers.
