Just like day 1
-
Been playing since day 1 doing all daily missions since day 1. Now I collected everything and sort of getting burnt out. I maybe will take a break or just do the daily moments to collect the player program cards and when I get energy again at least I can go back and complete those.
I play DD offline so the game is more about card collecting to me rather than rankings.
-
Yeah. I still like it more than every other sports game but I’m just a die hard baseball fan and change my entire lineup daily for the satisfaction of trying new players.

The card collecting approach has given alot of life to the game for me , and those days when I'm tired and not trying to deal with another human grinding by myself is enjoyable still .

I'm probably done for the year, its just not keeping my attention anymore. Been playing Dark Souls 3 lately, anticipating the 2042 release.

Since the update? Was it roulette or a slot machine before it? I'm just kidding, but it has always seemed as random as can be to me. The new update has been a major adjustment though.

Fortunately since I am on Xbox (Xbox series x), I was able to purchase a Xbox elite 2 controller and adjust my controller settings to compensate for the increase PCI sensibility. It was not easy to make the correct adjustments regardless.

The game is so garbage. I sold it to Game Stop. I got a whole $7 dollars. I got a steal deal. It is only worth the toilet paper I wipe my back-end with.

I have an Elite 2 also, but haven't been using it lately. Been trying out the Victrix Gambit the past week and really liking it. Thought about messing with the sensitivity on the Elite, but I struggle with my PCI anyway, so I was going to try and do a little adjusting myself first and then maybe try to dial in closer with the Elite after after week or two.

Yet you are taking time out of your Saturday to come to a forum about said game and comment on it? lol

I enjoy unlocking cards. I enjoy the new uniforms. I enjoy the first three innings of a ranked seasons game trying to figure out pitching tendencies and such. I don’t enjoy still not being able to hit even when I figure out those tendencies. I do not enjoy the fact that a large number of my games go into extra innings because either I or my opponent will tie it in the ninth and then immediately lose the ability to hit the ball forward into the field of play Until the 12 or 13th when one of us will lose on a weak grounder up the middle.
-
Burnout definitely growing by the day. I've gotten to the end of every inning before this one, but I think I may just stop at the boss pack and just keep up with the daily moments otherwise. None of the rewards past the bosses are worth additional game fatigue and I want to do the remaining PS programs and then the Finest. That'll be it for me.

I am bored. I like to read about the community's agony and let it be known the developers and SDS as a company are pathetic at what they do. IMO

Still loving it, but got NHL '22 yesterday, so naturally I'll be playing less Baseball.
Maybe 🤪 -

Since the last PCI update, the game is truly a dice roll. Even most MLB the show youtubers are frustrated with the current state of the game. Opinions ?
I suppose if you don't mind random results. If you're ok with squaring balls up and not getting the same results as your opponent who is just flailing away until the game decides its time to grove them one magically over the middle for a homerun. Not making light at your post at all, as I agree with the random dice roll analogy

No. And playing conquest today, I hit a PP flyball with Mackey against a righty to CF (max power) and it died at the warning track. This game is rotten. It's a joke.
Edit: funny too about the Mantle at bat above. That was an end of the top of the inning. Next batter up was Gio Urshela for the CPU and he hit an off PCI fastball, from P5 DeGrom, up and in to RF, just left of the pole. It would've been a homerun but it was able to rob it with Yelich.
60-ish power can almost go yard but not a max power perfect? This game is just awful.

Game sucks. Just buying time for Battlefield. EA PGA Tour is coming Spring 22. Might buy that instead of MLB 22.
-
If they don’t hire someone who is knowledgeable about net code and what it takes to fix this game I will be done. Had an events game today where two hits would have never happened if they didn’t mess with the PCI range.
On top of that the laggy online play, server outages and “challenge failed” messages in a game where timing is everything is maddening. They better get their sh*t together between now and April because I think a lot of faithful players are losing hope. Pretty cards are not enough to keep me around anymore.

I still enjoy it but I have def found myself playing less and less the past few weeks.
Same, I didn't even finish the 7th inning. Just boring at this point

22 will be the last one I purchase if they do another lazy port for my PS5. Not only can they NOT get HOF players like Pujols 2nd half card right, I cant even upload my own music to the game. 21 has just been a lazy game. I find myself still playing Borderlands 2 and 3 from time to time, games have crazy replay value. Much more entertaining than this slop from these lazy devs and mods
