Not feeling the 350K XP
-
It's been a while since I've posted on here. But I've been playing quite a bit of this game. And with the life cycle of this game coming to a close. I just kind of want to give my thoughts in this game this year. First of all I got the early access I preordered this game. And I've played very consistently. But the biggest thing outside of the online play and all the craziness that comes with it. I think the 350K xp to get the the inning boss pack is too much. I really liked the 300 stars I felt like that was really attainable for all types of players casual and very hardcore players. So far out of all the inning bosses I've only been able to get Troy Glaus. I want Hank Aaron but look I have a job that I spend 8 hours sometimes more. Then I come home and play for a few hours before I got to bed and that's still not enough play time grind and put in that work to get reach 350K XP for an inning program boss. I get it there are people like youtubers who get paid for streaming this game and that's their job but for regular people like me who don't put real life money into this game after purchasing it and they want to have fun and still be competitive. It's really a struggle to try and enjoy it.
Also what the heck happened to the ability to go back to inning programs that have already pass? That's was a game changer right there. Why take that away? I know last year's game I missed like 1 or 2 innings and I was able to go back and grind online or offline to get those 300 star inning bosses. I really miss being about to do that.

I work ten hours a day five days a week, work out every day, have two kids and get to 350K with ease. I admit I should probably trade some mlb hours for sleep.
-
My work keeps me busy enough that I usually only get to play on weekends. I played all day Saturday and a couple hours on Sunday, which was enough time to finish all the 7th inning offline content except the extra innings stat missions, and I'm already sitting at 160k. Even for a casual, 350k is really pretty easy to hit.
I agree about not being able to revisit previous innings though. Such an annoying change!
-
I keep hoping the last inning will be like last year where u can go back and get a boss u may miss
-
350k XP is easier than program stars. If you were able to get to 300 stars last year and can't get to 350k XP you aren't doing something right
-
I have finished every program so far and normally take a week or two off after I finish to not wear myself out from the game. I never got the last reward in a inning with program stars.
-
Bro, I've hit 650k every inning with a week or two to spare, many times not even doing the showdown or all the collections playing a few hours each night. It's definitely doable. I agree too, they should allow you to go back to a previous inning for those who missed out. I bet the last inning we get them all available again like last year.
-
350k is by far easier to get to then 300 Stars and also makes way more sense from a gameplay side of things that the xp earned in game translate to my progress.
Also I have been maxing out XP about 5-7 days before the program ends and take a week off something in the past 2 games I couldn't do.
This system works and is far more generous then tge Stars system

Gameplay XP for RTTS: Ridiculous amount of XPI have to say your post sounds a lot like BS excuses rather than a valid argument. Also, I would believe the statistics that SDS is keeping track of how many people reach 350 will also work against your argument. I also work, go to school greater than full time (6 classes/semester), taking care of a family, preparing a house to be sold, preparing a household to move cross country, dealing with a lot of pain and multiple intrusive medical procedures, and everything else that life throws at me, yet I am about to get Hank in about an hour. That is with about an average of 2 hours/day since launch of the 7th Inning Program!
-
I think 350 is far too easy
-
Yeah it's pretty rough. It took me 3 whole days to get 350K.
I want it to take maybe 1-2 days.
Or maybe one afternoon.
Or just give me the inning boss for nothing. -

Or just give me the inning boss for nothing. You have 1,300 hours plus in Diamond Dynasty. The original user has less than 200.
1,371 hours in 166 days comes out to an average of more than 8 hours a day every single day.You are the exception and not the rule. Certainly not the average player that everyone should use for comparison.

They hand u 350K between Conquest, collections, player programs, and Showdown. Then the last 10 days if u somehow still aren't there they add more!

1300 hours is pretty ridiculous unless its one of the top content creators that actually make enough for a living playing the game. I got 400 hours, so I guess that is about 3 hours a day which is still a lot. I am surprised I have that many hours with everything else I have going on.
But with that, I still get 350 in about a week and 650 in two weeks without putting forth a concerted effort to get as much playing time as possible. So, 1 hour per day which the OP averages, he should have no problem reaching 350 unless he is not trying to get there! As we all can see in my post, just doing the reward XP paths, one makes 360K. That is very doable with one hour per day, but it will take him close to the full three weeks.

Yeah you got me. I'm a teacher and I started the Show in June. Im playing way less now that school is back. Also, not sure if it counts hours at night I left it on and went to bed.
I will say this though. It annoys me greatly that I along with others here get criticized for playing the game TOO MUCH on a forum for said video game!
You would assume people taking the time to post a lot on here would be into the game and not denigrate people for playing it a lot.

To each their own but my main point is that if you are averaging 8 hours a day and another person is playing an hour a day then your 3 days to finish becomes 24 days for them, or essentially the whole program.
I am not 100% sure how it counts hours either but I know that when I leave my console running and in the DD menus for an extended time when I come back and it has logged me out for inactivity. So I don't think it counts once you have been disconnected

So I won't deny 8 hours a day is pretty crazy. Blame my obsessive completionist ways.
On the flip side though, I'm not sure if playing for 1 hour a day is enough to expect to earn the best rewards.
Like anything in life, you have to put the grind in to earn the top benefits.

I think it depends on how you play and what you focus your attention on during that one hour.
Obviously you need to focus on completing the Conquest, and earn any player program cards that will be added to the collections later.
If you just jump on and play a single ranked game in that hour each day then you will not make to 350k
