Let’s revisit XP

Since you all complained about the daily XP cap at the start of the inning…how many of you that did complain already have 650k?

I had it day 2 but also didn't complain. lol
**Edit: I made the boss on day 2, not 650k. Sorry for missing that.

I didn't complain and was actually kind of critical of those who did because I knew it would still be easy to get to the end. I think I got to 650K some time last week and I haven't even played that much this inning. There are just so many collections and missions that it can be knocked out without much effort as long as your checking off those boxes as you go.
And for those that want to chime in about wanting to reach the end without collections and such...the team said back in 19 that anything past the boss pack was meant for the super dedicated DD players. If you don't want to do the collections and don't play enough, then clearly that 90+ diamond at the end isn't meant for you, and that's okay.

I play almost exclusively on weekends and not once have I accumulated enough gameplay xp in a day to reach the cap, but I'm still sitting at 500k. I'm progressing at about the same rate this inning as I have all year. People were complaining about nothing.

I ran into the cap the first two days of implementation, but since had no issues. Tackled all the missions easy enough, each of the collections, normal play and I reached 650 Friday evening.
Not sure how the guy above got it in 2 days, but should have made a killing selling boss for +800k…those guys were under 100k this weekend.

Never complained in fact I was pushing that SDS lower it further.
I'm at 510k and have just been enjoying the game this month and not once hit the cap.

I hit 650k last night, but only because I played so much during the double xp weekend and I was also leveling up my Ballplayer finally. Got Trout in my Diamond pack and financed some nice additions from the TA programs.

Same here, I'm at 510k and still have the Damon, Cepeda and new player programs to do so I should have no problem hitting 650XP this month. The extra inning game missions have been great and i found out there were 3 more added this weekend so I'm working on the 40 TB woth prospects and Future Stars (Adley is a beast) and strikeouts with veteran pitchers.

What does it matter if we already have 650? The point of the (correct) objection to the cap was that people should be able to accumulate xp through (non-exploitative) gameplay at the pace they wish. If someone wants to play actual games for 24 hours straight when the program drops so they can be first to get a new boss, who cares? It doesn’t impact your ability to get a boss since they are unlimited.

I said I was happy they created a cap, but thought 30K was too low of a cap. I hit the cap once and then they raised it. I didn't complain and I still got to 650 in a week which was the same as before the cap.

There were plenty of people that were happy with the cap and still made or close to making 650K within two weeks that are in this thread. But I still don't see the complainers though, probably because there's nothing to complain about this cap!

I am only at 400k, I will get to the 650k we still have like 10 days to get there, I have gotten there every inning, I still have damon, Cepeda and new player program to do, I still have offline mission to complete, We will probably get another Double XP the last weekend of the program, 250 to go with 10 days to complete with plenty of mission and programs to finish off. Now when I go play the extra inning games I will get credit for TA 4 as well.

I hit 650k on Saturday and I've completed each program in equal time. I have no issues with it and I don't want it changed because it fits my play style (no exploits). I don't want them to nerf XP because I like finishing with time to go so I can concentrate on other things in the game. I'll have TA4 finished tonight most likely and then I can try a few RS games with the new team.

You really think it's reasonable to expect game developers to spend hours and who knows how much money developing content, then equally reward players who choose to ignore it?
By that logic I should go complain on the Final Fantasy 14 message board, because it's way faster to reach max level by completing all the quests and experiencing the storyline than by killing newbie enemies eight hours a day. Those stupid jerks refuse to cater to my playstyle!
I'm not sure if I can think of a single developer in the history of video gaming who structured their game in a way that meets your expectations of this one.

Hahaha, that makes three of us, although I just used it t ok buy 99 Wander and a few other pieces to use in the TS program.
