Some facts about the vaccine, it is only FDA approved for emergencies only. It will not be approved by the FDA until 2025, Everyone who gets the vaccine is part of the testing to collect data. Fact I have not seen anything about how many people died from the flu since Covid hit there is 0 data. Test result numbers are false, If one person gets testeds 5 times that is 5 different people with a neg or positive test. Where are the factual number of people who were healthy vs people who had medical conditions. The flu kills people every year no one is up in arms about it. a lot of healthy people do not get the flew shot. Facts some people do have bad reactions from the Vaccine. Not everyone who got the vaccine is healthy now. Why would someone get the vaccine when they are healthy, It has not been proven 100 percent if you get the vaccine that you can not get it again. People who got the vaccine need to still follow all the guide lines. I am not against people who got the vaccine. Every one has the right to make there own choice. I had a friend and other people I know who died from Covid 19. I worked during all of Covid 19 my wife got Covid as did some of her family members. I did not catch it from them. There are other known things you can take and do to prevent getting Covid. You do not need the Vaccine when there are better and other things you can do to protect you and your love ones. People need to respect other people that is what it comes down to.

Pretty funny since the vaccine has now been totally approved by the FDA. There is no more approval for it to go through. It’s been like 3 weeks now.

OK, Well I was unaware, so thank you.

It’s not that you didn’t know, it’s that you claimed it was going to be in 2025 and that we are all just guinea pigs. I made an informed decision to get my family vaccinated based on my own scientific research (I am a scientist) I would never allow my family to be experimental subjects.

It has not been 3 weeks it has been less than 2 weeks. I did not know, that last I heard it was going to be 2025, I was wrong, it is your decision to get your family vaccinated and since you claim to be a scientist you should know there are other things that prevent you from getting Covid and still protecting others without the vaccine.

Studies will not be released until 2025,

    because they go...skip skip skip..

    to my lo lo lo

The Sandy Hook comment is perplexing and disturbing.

Prime example of cognitive dissonance. If people don’t want to believe something that will make them uncomfortable, the mind will create a narrative to protect themselves. Unfortunately, they do not have the insight to understand this.

Yup. What’s worse though, is for someone to then get a snippet from Facebook or some other social media platform and consider that to be informative. That’s caused widespread tin foil hats.

“ About the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines

People receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna), especially males aged 12-29 years, should be aware of the possibility of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) or pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart) following receipt of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and the need to seek care if symptoms of myocarditis or pericarditis (such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or palpitations) develop after vaccination.”

For those that say “do your research”, this comes directly from the CVS website prior to scheduling your vaccination. I had Covid back in February and I was only sick for a day or so. I understand that it affects people differently and a different strain could impacts me more so, however, after seeing this disclaimer (especially being a male in the described age range) I decided I would rather take my chances of possibly getting Covid again. I don’t think the virus or vaccine is a conspiracy or anything of that nature, but I made what I think is the best decision is for myself as I believe everyone is entitled to do. I don’t have a problem wearing a mask anywhere that asks, I personally just don’t have 100% trust in the vaccine quite yet. Hating people because they are or aren’t vaccinated is absurd and needs to stop.

We could all benefit from being kind to one another, but each day it seems we’re further and further divided and hateful. This forum is a microcosm, with so many internet tough guys, it’s unreal.

Have you seen the video where the British guy dons armor made from keyboards and starts to instigate fights in a grocery store?

This debate absolutely does not belong here and nothing good will come of this.

Just to add, the hatred that people have for those who CHOOSE not to get vaccinated is insane. It comes out in these posts all the time and is quite disgusting. It seems a high percentage of people who take the vaccine seem to think they are super heroes and are basically in the trenches saving lives. Over 99% survival rate. Stop all the hatred towards your family, friends, neighbors, etc.

You do you buddy. I have no hatred. No empathy either.

    That’s fine.

Just curious do you say the same for all those you know who smoke, drink, do drugs, are overweight, and generally don’t take care of themselves? Just asking

Those are life choices that don’t affect anybody else though. Could you say the same for getting vaccinated. Hell if it’s safe enough for Patrick mahomes to get it. It’s safe enough for me. The worlds leading epidemiologists telling you it’s safe but people would rather say it’s gonna turn them into zombies.

About to be World War Z up in this

I agree with the last part, I think people on both sides are scared though and that can make people lash out, there's also a lot of frustration and angry going around these days as well.

I personally got the vaccine but I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to get it and I understand were your coming from. Just because I don't agree with a friend/family member or even stranger doesn't mean that they should be hatted or treated badly. Your choice is yours and that's the way it should be.

It is. Yet the same folks who believe this fundamental right have the opposite opinion when it suits them. Such as in Texas. Those particular people want to control others bodies when it suits them, but claim the right to decide for themselves about a vaccine. So which is it? Does the govt have the right to decide for you when it comes to your health and body or not?

Right or left doesn’t matter anyways neither side wants the best for us as people. Hate to see legends of the game picking sides when neither cares about us. Just to tear people apart from each other.

Bring people together man. No more of this BS by chip.

Dude why are you here posting this? This is a forum about MLBTS 21 and baseball in general. While politics and controversial things leak into this forum as it's inevitable that they do, we try to keep it to a minimum.

And why are you posting this in diamond dynasty? If it needs to be posted in this forum at all, it should go into the off-topic section.

If I had to guess, you posted this in diamond dynasty because you knew that this is the most active section of the forum where you KNEW you would get attention. So you posted it here in the wrong section. Not cool imo.

While I'm not against debate or anything, this forum can be easily stirred up sometimes (no offense to anyone here of course, it happens anywhere), stirring the pot politically doesn't help the climate too much.

It is interesting when you say that you hate to see legends picking sides, when you post something controversial that is going to make people pick sides and fight one another. You say you want to bring people together, but look at the replies to your post—this is doing the opposite, driving people apart and pitting them against each other, making everyone fight each other. It's not cool at all, man.

    Just my two cents.

I guess the argument could be that 100% of abortions kill the fetus. If you don’t get the vaccination you are most likely not killing anyone.

And your also calling most Pro-choice people hypocrites because a lot of them are the ones spewing the hate at those who choose not to get vaccinated. Goes both ways

For a guy that says he does his own “research”, claiming sandy hook was a hoax is really disappointing.

Just remember guys Facebook isn’t research.

You say you want to bring people together, but look at the replies to your post—this is doing the opposite, driving people apart and pitting them against each other. It's not cool at all, man.

    Just my two cents.

So are you saying that people who trust vaccinations and people who think Sandy Hook was a hoax can be evenly divided by political lines? How come?

I wasn't saying that at all. Don't put words into my mouth. Or keyboard, in this case. The word "evenly" doesn't appear anywhere. And no one is ever evenly divided over everything—the world isn't black and white, there are always gray areas and middle ground.

What I was saying is that I didn't like how the OP, in my opinion, was inciting people to fight and argue with each other. This forum, which is about a baseball game, just isn't the place for that.
