Excluding Pedro only due to the fact that he's so new and because not many likely have him at all lol.
How good is Lefty Grove?
Felix Hernandez?
Nolan Ryan?
99 Ohtani?
Where do these cards rank as well since I'm literally a card off of getting Ohtani now. -
I struggle for the first 3/4 innings against Nolan Ryan. For any pitcher with the 102 I struggle to catch up to his the most. I bought and used him myself and then sold him as he was getting lit up. Need that sideways movement.
Felix. No.
Ohtani definitely not. His control is pretty bad.Lefty Grove - absolutely yes. Played two games for me now and his ERA is about 0.6 I think. I also struggle against him myself.
For me the best pitchers are
99 DeGrom - P5 - ERA 2.2
Mark Prior - P5 - ERA 2.4
Lefty - P1
Crochett - P5 - ERA 2.3
AJ Burnett - P5 - ERA 2.9 - this is the spot I rotate and try new persons. Tbh I normally go bullpen only every 4 or 5 games. So they can get their PXP -
Interesting. I heard Lefty was good. Ohtani I'm, one card away from getting now because just bought Vlad last night but Lefty I might get soon after Ohtani then get Piazza.

Tbh bro some cards work for you some won’t. I’ve played guys who have JDG era under 2 and some over 6. Just depends on what works for your pitch style in all honesty.
Lefty, JDG and 99 Goose are the best pitchers in the game right now

It all depends on what levels you play on and who you play against. Felix on all star may not be as good because of huge PCIs and he doesn’t throw as hard. But HOF and Legend his sinker/cutter/slurve combo is nasty, he’s only given up one run in the 3 starts he had so far. Lefty could be good if you play people who can’t catch up to fastballs but if you do, then his offspeed pitches aren’t nearly good enough to keep people off balance and they don’t break very much. I also do very well with Leiter and cliff lee.

I got lefty and he's really good. I'm not a big fan of Ryan since he doesn't have side movement but I've been dominating with him. 40k's in 18 innings (!) on legend. That being said, I expect that it would be different depending of opponent. That circle change has been money for me so far. Really like prior and Fergie has been good for me as well.

Nolan Ryan 99 milestone- hood luck catching up to him and then adjusting to that breaking stuff.
Jacob Degrom 99 AS- insanely good
Felix Hernandez 99 Milestone.Those 5 are an utterly dominant staff.
Plus Mariano, AS- Hader, Kimbrel, Reyes and Hendricks in the pen- goodnight.

As for what level you play at it appears hard throwing guys dominate all star. Look at the meta and who you see the most at these levels. These guys seem to be the consensus best pitchers.
Personally at any level I like to use Glavine, Oswalt and Baumgardner. These guys are fun to pitch with and all five pitches are effective. I’m also a big fan of Cliff Lee.
I’d rather play chess with my pitchers and choose the right pitch in the right situation instead of relying on pure over powering stuff. Just my personal preference. I like to have fun pitching. And these guys do perform well for me.

He has Ohtani in there because he's a pitcher with 120 power. You don't have a weak hitting spot in your lineup. That's the only reason I use Ohtani. His pitching is subpar but hitting is elite.

I still think Greg Maddux is a great pitcher in this game. Great break,great control and great pitch mix. Kinda like Pedro in many ways.
