I am still new to investing and want to know who y'all are investing in.
-
I don't think people are going to share that information, because that could increase demand which leads to price hike. Just invest in someone you think might get a bump with the new roster updates.

Topps Now are usually a sure shot for making profit.

Like @raesONE_PSN said people aren't going to give you specific players but best bet is to look for guys that only need a 1 or 2 point bump in overall for an upgrade. Try to pick guys up during market crashes like when new conquest maps come out or programs so you get them cheap that way even if they don't upgrade you can hopefully break even.

I'm buying all of the LS Tim Andersons. ALL OF THEM.
He may not go diamond this cycle, but I am convinced he will at some point. He went diamond in the last update in 2020. He's arguably been better this year, but is languishing at 83.

Typically a good idea is to watch trends. I have about 30 of each henchman for the 5th inning that I snagged up at 5500-6000. Look at packs that are currently out. (Kitchen Sink 1 & 2, AS Pack, Prospect pack) and invest in the base round guys. Typically you can get them at QS or slightly above.
Ie. 2021 All-Star Xander Bogaerts and 2021 All-Star Liam Hendriks should climb back up to 8-12k+.
KS 1 & KS 2 cards will rebound a little (I focus on the base guys because you can pick them up near QS)
If you want you can take a shot on the Prospects at QS. Maybe the go back up to 2-3k a piece and if not you can QS them and lose nothing.
Then as far as live series players... If you think they deserve an upgrade you can invest but you need to get in early to make it worth it. Ie. If you buy Raisel Iglesias now and he goes diamond, you are only making less than 1000 a copy but if you invested in him 2 weeks ago right after he didn't get upgraded and his price dropped to like 2k.

I invested hard in those base round Awards cards. FYI Travis D, Porcello and Bill Maz are awards cards and not milestone FWIW

Everyone does it differently.
Personally I dont do much live series investing. Its risky and you have to have stubs locked up for over a week usually.
I personally look for trends such what free packs are released in certain things like kitchen sinks, ASG/HRD packs etc. in conquest, inning programs, flash sales, etc.
Also like the BR silvers/golds when the new BR program drops.

Yeah I pulled that from someone else's sheet lol They are all correct on my sheet. Good catch though. Here are my current investments related to the 5th inning program and the Shark Map. I already have 20-30 of each so I don't care about sharing the info. I am not sharing my Live Series investments because I plan on buying more but one I will share because I have 200+ copies already is A.J. Pollock. I think he goes Diamond before the end of the season and I am okay holding onto him.

Yeah the henchman and classics at the end of an inning program are usually pretty solid investments. I picked up some of all 6 this morning

Classics* that's what I meant! Henchman as well but I have had more success with the classics.

yeah classics will go up more but the Henchman were basically at quicksell this morning when I bought them so zero risk there.
