Comes straight from players. Its the same exact grip, but you can do different things with it. Also baseball savant, one of the best pitcher analysis websites out there, classifies both as sinkers. Its the same pitch, some pitchers just get horizontal movement on it(like degrom for example) instead of vertical movement(think Arrieta, Felix)
