Can anyone hit in DD?

I’m new to DD, so I didn’t know what to expect. Thought hitting was way too easy when I was in the 500-600 level and was a HR fest. Then I got to the 800ish level and I have zero chance of getting more than 5 hits. Dudes are throwing 100mph sinkers followed by sliders than move 9 feet. Can anyone hit at this level or did I just get really bad fast?

You moved from all star to hall of fame difficulty.

if you made it to the 800s you can definelty hit, You just need to adjust your timing youll be alright!

My dude, I envy you. I have been playing this game for 13 years, made World Series every year and I never had more trouble hitting than this year.

My dude, I envy you. I have been playing this game for 13 years, made World Series every year and I never had more trouble hitting than this year.
Same here. I usually love the competition of the game but this year I just give out free wins so I can stay in all star. At least until I get the lindor then I may try to make a run

If it makes you feel any better -- I played a game on All star last night that had a grand total of 5 hits. 3 by me, 2 by the other guy.
Nolan Ryan (him) vs Degrom (me) and every fastball by Ryan was 102mph and regardless of how early I swung I always was "very late" and on the very end of the meter.
Got lucky the other guy was awful and tried to bunt his way to victory (poorly) and dash boarded top 9 after he hung off speed.
I'm going to assume there was a connection issue I couldn't see because there was no way I was that late on every single fastball the entire game.

Hitting is absolutely terrible this year . If your down by more then 2-3 runs , it’s over . The timing is ALL over the map regardless of what “division” your playing it . I’ve had 5 or 6 games where I think “oh now I’m getting it down “ then 30 games of 4 hits per . Some pitchers are so ridiculously OP I honestly think about quitting at least 2-3 time a week . I barley ever hit “Perfect-Perfect “ anymore and go through 10-15 game stretches where I can’t hit a HR if you through me 90 MPH fastballs down the middle . Like I get that hitting should be hard , and that you can’t have every player constantly hitting HR or batting .350 . But this year is terrible and I’m sick of the one or two people saying “no hitting is awesome this year , my team is batting .456 “ . Dude I have played more the 400 RS games and 90-95% of the teams I face have maybe 2 players batting over .225 . BUNTING is a legit stratagy this year . My personal “tinfoil hat” conspiracy is the reason this game is not out on PC is because they don’t want hackers looking at the game code and seeing code that makes players timing worse so they buy more packs .

I play online rated and Ive never been good at hitting so it seems similar to me

I played an event game earlier like this. I can usually hit the 102, but in this game I was basically guessing, it was awful connect @demise
