Just keep at it. If you havent beaten the moment put the controller down take a break. Then come back to the moment later. Despite moments for the most part being easy, there are some that give me fits. Some get them done in one at bat and others just take a little bit

I appreciate the genuine reply. I did get the moments done.
My point here, is that we as a player community, should not accept this kind of manipulation of the game mechanics (and lack of transparency from SDS).
It’s just not cool for them to say something is “rookie” difficulty and then make a bunch of undisclosed adjustments to the gameplay.
We really need a competitor in this game genre.

There's definitely something up with these FoD game moments. I was playing the Jose Abreu hr in one game moment...........115 power against lefties (Heaney+Britton) and it was like hitting with a wet noodle. Felt way off.
Took a just barely oppo shot to right off Heaney, but it happened after like 7 tries of being dumbfounded lol.
It's all good though. Currently riding the wave of happiness of actually beating the 6 hit, 3 xbh Justin Turner moment

Showdown is much worst than moments, your bats are nerfed beyond belief, the AI pitching is pinpoint at will with every pitch and the D...oooh boy the superpowered AI defense...but be careful bc dont want the shills and a$$kissers to cry to their masters about your criticism of the game

I don't even bother with showdowns at all personally. I'm not nearly good enough at hitting in the game whatsoever to compensate for all the nonsense, and I really don't have the patience to try again when I inevitably fail on a showdown boss and have to do the same moments over and over again for a slim to none chance of success.

I don't even bother with showdowns at all personally. Appreciate your input, and honesty. Sure I absolutely get it will obviously be a challenge to get a 99 overall SS with diamond hitting and defense, but these moments aren't what they seem at face value on paper.

I know it makes you feel good to speak like you’re an authority on the game and all, but you’re missing my point AGAIN.
I have no problem with completing the moments. I have a problem with manipulating gameplay and lying to customers. Make the moments whatever difficulty you want. Just don’t lie about it.
Also, Mr “replies to every post with the same generic condescending response”, why not actually read the content of a user’s post, and reply to what is said therein, instead of just flexing.
Cool. You’re good at the game. If you’re not actually responding to the thread content, spare us.

My first 4 ABs with Turner were HR’s in that moment! I was like [censored] I can’t wait to not be able to hit with this guy online! He was a beast for me in those moments though. All 4 were perfect perfects and sounded so beautiful.
