I suck at showdowns. I'm usually an offline player, but I think I'll just suck it up and grind out a couple of the online missions for whatever progress I need. None of them look too difficult.

I got frustrayed right after the 3rd mini-boss. Skipped to the end with only 6 runs. Stole base anytime I got a runner on (it's a free base until you get within I think 4 runs) and beat felix with 6 or 7 outs left. And I'm a terrible hitter.

Only thru 2 parts so far but that wasn't bad. He walked my 1st 2 batters before I knocked 1 over RF.

I'll say the moments are generally more difficult in this showdown. I struggled and only had 11 runs going into the final showdown with Hernandez. His Stam didn't go down fast, bit omg his confidence did. Just get baserunmers on and he drains so fast.

I’m just terrible at showdown’s I guess because I never think they are easy….even when I beat them.

I have only done the beginners one at the start of the game... I haven’t even tried others because I fail so miserably

I thought Betances was juiced to the gills in my showdown.

Same with Ryan.

I always beat them, and I did beat Betances, but the Ryan final boss was a joke. 102 outlier and completely random cpu pitch sequencing. Screw that. Not redoing it. Pure frustration.

I had little trouble with other Showdowns but this one is INSANE.

Lost the Betances/Henke ones a couple times before winning finally.

But then lost the 2nd Elimination one and gave up for now.

I feel like they could allow pxp in showdowns, & that wouldn't be the end of the world. Idk why they don't. But it is funny how people's experiences can vary so much with moments & showdowns

I think some days you're just locked in, some days you're not. I remember breezing through the Semien POTM moments. First attempt every mission. Almost every multi-game moment done in 1 game. Then again today, 13/13, bomb on the 1st pitch vs Felix. I was crushing everything. But the Schwarber program was a b*tch for me. The 4th inning showdown, I failed to score 1 more run in 10 outs vs the last boss, never even attempted it again.

Idk it's just weird. I've definitely felt like they mess with the sliders sometimes. This wasn't one of those times.

And this is why I hate showdowns. I’d rather do ten extra moments than do one showdown to finish a program offline.

the showdown isnt even difficult, and it gets easier as you progress. It's tedious fs but anyone can do it with some patience

I got to the boss that throws 102 (third, I think?). My eyes can't catch up to that speed.
I lost. Didn't even score a run. Pretty demoralizing.
Oh well; guess I won't be finishing this one and that's fine my me.
