The Show/Madden Debate

I’m seeing alot of people post stuff either bashing Madden or bashing The Show and then people just argue pointlessly about it…Why can’t people just enjoy both? I love playing the show & it’s definitely my favorite game but I also enjoy Madden quite a bit also. Baseball & Football are both great sports, What is wrong with enjoying both of them on a console? Relax & just have fun playing whatever you want people & don’t worry about what other people play.

I've gotten every single Madden since the 90s. I still love it but I will say when it comes to Madden I usually only stick to doing a franchise with my Packers. Its fun for me. I don't really get into MUT like I do DD.

Because my thing is right and I want everyone to know it and anyone that doesn’t agree is stupid and wrong.

It’s pretty obvious that MUT is a way bigger cash grab and it has a lot worse gameplay than the show. And I’ve religiously played DD and MUT both. It’s not hard to tell which is better or worse.

For years I am all in on baseball then when madden comes out it’s all in on football. I start to get bored when everyone has the 99 overall team so the timing is perfect but I am burnt out on madden so I’ll hang out till 2k drops

Madden is great because it’s football. There’s a completely different element due to game planning. MLB is a simpler game IMo. Hard to be video game football from a fun and strategy POV. With that said EA is such a trash company is infuriates me. If SDS ran Madden and EA ran TS I would never play this game. Madden only gets played because it’s football which is king.

Those of us who simply love sports will probably do as I now intend to do .........buy Madden, still play MLB and if one or the other holds my attentions as the more favorable game for ME to play, that game will get the bulk of my attentions. And then either NBA 2K or NHL 22 comes out and the choices widen. Perhaps Madden will give me reason to still play MLB as the dominant game, or play Madden mostly. OR NHL 22 steals me away from both? Bottom line, play whatever you want to and or whatever you like best. Really, you shouldn't really care at all because heck, I am not playing on YOUR PS5 I am playing on MY PS5. I happen to think MLB 21 is a VERY good game (still with serious faults) , Madden 22 I am HOPING will be better than in recent years, Madden 21 was the worst ever as far as I am concerned. SDS is far superior with rewards and content and a tolerable (at least) gameplay. Let's hope Madden 22 provides fun and enjoyment for whomever wants to play it. You want to play Madden? Play On! You rather play MLB? Play On and have fun! You want to play both? Enjoy!!!!!! WE all love sports that is why we are all passionate about our personal gaming experience.
