Time to tank down so I might actually see the ball. Fix the connection/server issues and I would be glad to stay higher. Until then, you'll catch me in the 500's for a while.

This is my biggest issue as well. I’ll play 5 games and have no issues catching up with the fastballs. Then next couple games even start my pci where the ball is going and can’t touch it the whole game.

I dont think its as much warping pitchs, its more like fastballs look they are moving 150mph some games, I can see pitch move pci to ball and swing within 0.2 second and still be very late lol hall of fame just sucks

I understand a game needs difficulty levels but there also has to be a realistic time to react to the pitch. I have no idea how people do it on HOF and Legend. I played some RS games tonight on AS and actually had a good time and hit well. Was it because I was playing between 3-4:30am?? It could be but who knows. My days of sweating over making World Series are over. I’m happy to play a few ranked games here and there when I’m in the mood and leave it at that.

Yes. I normally rank down to stay at All Star bc the pitch speeds are so frustrating( even on AS sometimes) I don’t care to “get gud” . I’d prefer to enjoy myself and not play 1-0 games over and over. Plus I can still get the WS award with less frustration lol. There are only so many 200 mph fastballs ( sometimes it seems like this) I can take til I get frustrated

Can't imagine why someone would create a thread just to alert us all that they would be tanking.

I have also wondered if, at some point, SDS will consider tanking an exploit.

    1. You are cheating the system to play easier opponents at a more favorable difficulty.
    2. It is unfair to those players who are truly ranked in the 500's based on their skills.
    3. You are artificially boosting the players that are the beneficiaries of your quitting.

It's no skin off my nose because I don't play online just a thought that keeps going through my head every time the original poster brags about tanking.

Hoping some day we can get the connection/server/match making issues sorted out so I am not seeing 110 mph pitches 60% of the time. Why the game thinks it is good to match me with someone 1000+ miles away.

You can say play easier opponents but I just want to have fun and see the ball. I would much rather play HOF or legend but not if every game is a laggy warping mess. I do like the challenge of HOF and it would be my favorite if there was consistency to the online play and pitch speeds. These legend people are not hitting .400 with the pitch speeds I am seeing. I promise you.

It is unfair but also unfair for me to play in the 700's and see 110 mph pitches while my opponent is turning on 102 like it is slow pitch softball. Whether you or anyone wants to admit, lag has a tremendous effect on pitch speeds.

I have had many games in the 500's where the game was laggy and pitches were incredibly fast. So much so that if you asked my opponent if I should be there they would say yes.

Same here. I’ll win a couple and tank a couple to stay in all star where I can actually see the ball. When it comes down to pitching being overpowered or hitting, I’ll chose hitting any day of the week. Sick of getting into HOF and playing 1 to 0 games and seeing everyone’s team batting about .150. There’s no fun in that

    If I didn’t tank I think I’d be about 30 games over .500 😂
