Over last 30 days:
Votto: 11 hr, 25 rbi .337 avg 1.234 ops
Soto: 9 hr, 21 rbi, .352 avg 1.189 ops
Machado: 8 hr, 25 rbi, .360 avg 1.174 ops
Farmer: 4 hr, 9 rbi, .380 avg 1.114 opsBoth Soto and Machado already have 2 diamond cards which I think will make it more likely for Votto to be the lightning
I'll keep saying it, I would prefer Farmer or Bader as those guys probably won't get a higher diamond any other way. Votto could easily have his 99 MVP card from last year rolled out again soon.
I absolutely agree about Bader, I really hope he gets a card

I don’t think is Votto because is normally get a Signature Series.

I’d like to see an Austin Riley , not a lighting but just an upgrade. He’s hitting .290 for the year with .900 ops roughly and is still a 77 silver live series.
Hit over .300 for the month with 9 dingers including a slam and a 4 game bomb streak.

Votto for sure. Not even because of the home-run streak....it definitely helps and without he wouldn't be in consideration but that isn't the sole reason for his consideration. Even without the streak he has been a hot hand at the plate. He had a few defensive gems during the month but he was clutch in batting situations.

I want Bader to be the lightning or the second highest because he won’t get a higher card than this. I also think he’ll go Diamond because he’s batting almost 300 in only 150 at bats and his card only has 60s across the hitting and he’s already an 84

Votto/Ohtani named MLB's POTM. Since we already have 3 different Ohtani cards (not including his live series), I'm assuming POTM lightning will be Votto.

I think Votto. Partly just for sentimental reasons. Great player for a long time on not great teams. Awesome to see him have a run like this. Thought his power was gone 5 years ago.

But could SDS pivot and give it to a pitcher this time? Maybe Beuhler or Taillon, the mlbs pitchers of the month.
Something in me is just not a fan of guys having 3 or 4 diamond cards. Votto already has a 92 rated card and we will most likely see his MVP card return again.

27KLead the league in ERA for the month and I know that doesn't mean anything for the attributes themselves but I would say it's deserving of a POTM card.

I think it would be fun if they mixed things up and had a lightning pitcher this month. Any performances worthy of consideration for that?

Lucas Giolito definitely did not have a good enough month of play to warrant any sort of POTM card. I mean, by no means was he bad, he just wasn't particularly outstanding in any one area.
I would love for it to be Walker Buehler though. He was one of my early-season MVPs before we all had "god squads."

As I said in my post above, Buehler and Taillon were named the pitchers of the month by MLB
Taillon - Whip of 0.97, 25 strikeouts and 10 walks. Opponents hit .182 off him
Buehler Whip of 0.90, 38 strikeouts to only 9 walks. Opponents hit .177 off him -
