I think Harper is the better card. Walker's card this year is a shadow of last year's sig series.

Edit for "why": Walker's v LH hitting stats aren't as strong as last year's card, if I remember correctly.

Walker still has a great swing. People knock his vs lefties but he’s still more than usable against lefties.

I haven't used the new Bryce Harper yet but I just bought Larry Walker a few nights ago and while I'm still very much in the small sample size territory, I don't think this Walker has the same magic as last year's card. I mean, don't get me wrong -- he annihilates RHPs -- but I have had an awful time against very average lefties (Trevor Rogers, Carlos Rodon, Yusei Kikuchi, etc.) His swing feels a tad slow to me for some reason, although, he is one of those guys that when they get a piece of it, they absolutely crush it.

But yeah, it feels like every at-bat is either a HR or a strikeout though.

I’ve tried both and neither one of them impressed me that much. I didn’t give a long sample time before I flipped them for a profit. My personal opinion is Jason Dominguez is a bargain for how good he is for the price.

It's weird to read that as a question ... I like how Bryce hair's shine in the sun but Larry Walker is ... Larry Walker, you called him sir not Bro .... Anyway I have Walker he's not that bad vs lefty so far but in a berry small sample he's not the last year Larry

@yankeefan412_xbl said in Walker or Harper?…..And why?:

I tried them both and I will end up with both eventually but I kept Walker because it felt to me as if the card just played smoother. On D throws were nice steps leading into the throw were fluid no akward animations that made the play feel forced almost like Walkers card made it very to see the strong Defensive attributes working to make things easier and more precise. I didn't have enough AB nor am I a good enough hitter consistently to do any thing more than a broad comparison. Harper's card definitely has the better attributes when it comes to Lefty Lefty but for me Walker having the higher vision seemed to make Walkers card the more comfortable 1 and I had enough same handed matchups to know that I really liked Walkers swing not taking anything away from Harper. I would say having more success, the increased vision, really good D the Walker card seemed to exceeded what I was able to do with Harpers card. I had a good chunk of stubs I had pulled 2 Vladdy Jr. Alonso a few middle tires, along with Acuna a couple days prior so stubs had nothing to do with my decision although it's nice when you truly like the item that is literally half price and dont sacrifice quality. I also bought 99 Goose great card and definitely an upgrade from 95 along with Kenley Jansen 99 card which is absolutely filthy and would recommend over either of them. Hope that helps . Now hopefully SDS can get that 99 Billy Wagner and a juiced up 99 MILLER time card I'm still using Andrew Millers card as often as possible but at this rate he will be a common by the time I get it to Parallel 5
