I am up in a BR game and it was the first game. Guy couldn't hit for anything but refuses to quit even though he knows he is not a great player. I just quit because it is not worth it. The roster update upgraded like 4-5 of my players too and it was a stacked team. @TGIamiel2020_PSN , dude you will win many many more games man against people who do not behave like a five year old. To the guy that loves the freeze offs while obviously losing...it is just a video game. Why do you want the win so much? Is your life really that depressing?

OP. I had it happen a day or two ago. Game was over and it froze after the last out. Not sure if the win would've counted so had to wait it out. I know what you're saying. If someone is getting smoked they should be the one to quit, especially if the game is over.

Umm, are you sure you are in a freeze off then? A freeze off is when the game is permanently frozen. Absolutely nothing you can do. So it is the perfect time to get stuff done. The game cannot unfreeze and then he starts beating you. That isnt how it works.

I couldn’t help but chuckle at the reasoning….fine with the posts before then but the notion that the kids have to wait for food until the freeze off ended was hilarious. I mean I’ve told GF I’d do something after the game ended, so if he told the kids the same, and TECHNICALLY the game hasn’t ended, he can’t really look like a liar and feed them before……..

Lol guys. Here to report the children were well-fed and on time. Funny that people thought I would them go hungry.
I was mostly worried the TV would go into sleep mode and trigger the PS into rest mode as well, therefore disconnecting and giving me the loss. Guess I should figure out how to change the setting.
Turns out my opponent finally quit after 5 hours, and I got the deserved W. It was my 7th straight win in BR, and I’n now 9-0 going for the elusive last 3. Have a stacked lineup so I feel good about it. Wish me luck.

Settings > System > Power Saving > Don't put in rest mode. I would make sure to turn back on afterwards.

best way to fix this problem is ban both people clearly neither of you want to play the game so let sds fix that for you

Thome steps on first base to make the last out of the game, the scoreboard graphic in the bottom right of the screen literally said “Final” 3-1.
The camera follows thome into the dugout and freezes. an absolute joke
