Are we basing POTM on HR potential only?

There are three other guys hitting for a better average. It could be Kyle Farmer, AJ Pollock, Freddie Freeman or even someone like Harrison Bader.

I am not saying that he won't get it, just that it is not a sure thing.

Top of the list on fangraphs when you filter July. Hitting 37 points higher than votto with only one less HR. Only 13% K rate to vottos almost 25%. .500 on base is pretty insane too. His card would be sick. Basically a schwarber 2.0 I’d imagine.

Since he’s the last nat standing at this point…..but can’t imagine them doing same team players back-to-back.

It’s been a guy that has won the MLB POTM award in their league that has gotten the lightning card. Doubt any of those 4 win the award in their league

That makes me think that it won't be him. I can't believe they would give such an obvious hint for the lightening player. My guess is that he is maybe one card below the lightning, whoever that may end up being.

Besides would it be better, hitting wise, than his HRD card?

I think they’ll give him 90+ contact vs lefties even though it shouldn’t be there just like schwarber. Not to mention his fielding would be nice on this card
