Name a worse online game for casual players

Do you play on a normal T.V. ??? ... the truth about this game is that you need a monitor to compete online. If you are on a TV with 4ms, you will struggle No matter how good you are. The difference between 1 ms and 4 ms is huge.

I guess the theme is PS guys. You’ve been playing for years. This is year one for me.
Ok, but doesn't that make sense? You aren't going to be as good your first year, it takes time. Would you rather have a game where you can just hop online and beat someone who has played a good bit longer then you because the game helped you out?
The learning curve is definitely rough, but that's partly just how baseball is, it's hard to get around that

We shouldn't eliminate skill gap for the sake of protecting the ego's of new players. This is coming from a 1st year player who's getting his [censored] whooped online. Does it feel bad getting smacked around? Of course it does. Will it make you a better player over time? Yes it will.
-
Yeah I’m on a tv and an x box one. I’m sure two issues.

Sorry, not going to happen. You were born about 15 years too late.

I’m not saying I shouldn’t get beat up. It’s just not fun. Pitch speeds are ever changing, always lag online, and everyone can paint like Picasso so you rarely see anything actually enter the zone.

Not saying the game doesn’t have perks. I enjoy offline. Collections. Conquest. Smacking the AI around. Opening packs. Etc.
But online is one of the worst online games I’ve ever played. Unless you like low scoring games and strikeouts.

Eh i disagree. As frustrating as it can be, at least it replicates the sport of baseball fairly accurately. It takes extreme skill to hit a baseball consistently. Compare that to 2K where any [censored] can score no matter how well you defend them

1ms and 4ms of what?? I always laugh at guys like you throwing around terms they have no idea about. Get educated first before giving away that awesome technical advice. Lol

Having played a while now, I can tell you the big advantage is already being familiar with certain players pitching animations that everyone tends to use. If you used Kershaw today against anyone who was semi decent two years ago, you would see him get lit up. If you tried to face him not having lots of experience, it will be very frustrating. Probably why Cabrera is so dominant, he is new.
-
Madden. It takes way more work on MUT to field a decent team. You can literally have a team of all topps now, player of the month, and TA3 players and be good.

I agree somewhat but I think it's more about the pitch mix. Kluber is still pretty good this year despite how many hours we logged against him last year. Any pitcher with three direction breaks with multiple speed differentials on same tunnel pitches with high h/9/k9s is going to do well.

I'd give this post more than one like if I could. Very well put.

You can’t.
This game is absolutely hideous online for anyone that isn’t a die hard, no job, goon.
Not sure what the deal is but the game is rarely not laggy.
Love my opponent stealing second and third constantly as my catcher double clutches the ball and won’t throw it.
Hitting is ridiculously hard right now. Nobody throws anything that isn’t a sinker or slider on the black or outside of the zone.
My opponents though all seem to be amazing at the game. They have 9-10 pitch at bats fouling off everything even stuff 6-8 inches out of the zone before eventually taking said pitch deep.
I know I’m not great but I don’t think that changes the fact that this game just blows [censored] online for many reasons.
Sincerely,
Disappointed
You need pretty good internet and you need to make sure you have a wired connection not Wi-Fi. A monitor also helps but if you play Call of Duty I'm assuming you already play on a new and low lag TV or monitor.

I'm probably in the minority, but I actually think online in this game is better for casual players because most of them aren't good enough to reach the higher levels of ranked which is where the majority of the cheesers and toxic players are. I haven't played online much this year, but I played hundreds of games online last year and I can literally count on one hand the number of unpleasant experiences that I had.

I don’t get how people can play any sports or shooter game for hours on end, day after day up to the next release and not get worn out. I’ve played this one quite a bit and starting to get behind on programs because motivation is waning. Played COD a lot from WaW up to WW2 and skipping (Ghost) or barely touching (MW3 and the first exosuit one) some bad editions and I can’t play anymore. I need variety even if I still have a narrow taste in genres. In this game you have to practice a lot and avoid taking long breaks from online to compete. Maybe if I was late teens/early 20s I could, but I grew up offline and single player

My first The Show was 20. I started playing in November- about March. All free time was spent on the game because I wanted to get good. I can hit WAY better on there than 21. I can’t imagine attempting to hit without prior experience from 20.
