Ortiz assisted base running fail
-
First I wanna say I really enjoy this game, and the following mostly just makes me scratch my head, and has never ‘cost me the game’ but…..
Why does Ortiz think he can always make it to second on a clear single base hit, he never makes it to second ever and sometimes ends the inning…it’s like home run or nothing lol.
I just wondered if anyone else has this happen to them……he has terrible speed so why does the a.i tell him to ALWAYS go for second.
I realise that I can just turn off assisted base running but I find it easier when grinding innings and stuff like that…….so no big deal but just funny.

Haha.. I could imagine. All I know is that Grandal is so slow that if he were to hit a ground rule double, the umpires would convene and decide it should be a ground rule single.
