Why do Twitch streamers play offline? How in the heck do so many people have Acuna and Ohtani?
-
To get TA's done really quickly, exchanges and showdowns are your best bet. With all the packs you get, you will replenish a lot of cards. Exchanges, play against CPU for stats, like 5 showdowns and some moments.

Interesting about Weens. I have played him before, and he is very hot-and-cold. Some innings he can't miss, and others he can't get a hit. Still almost unbeatable with his runs though. I'm curious if there is a zen involved. He streams though (and does really well on stream), so that seems less likely. He appears just like an introverted/awkward kid and one-track minded, so he might just not love streaming a lot.

Played Weens and BMac yesterday. BMac was streaming but that chubby looking kid Weens who is number one was offline when I played him.
What is the purpose of the guy not streaming? It’s kind of fishy to me. Especially the way he magically pulverized every pitch after doing nothing for three innings.
I haven’t been playing a ton recently but was trying to close out my WS rank before the card values drop so I’ve played like ten games in the last 24 hours….of course get matched up with four guys over 1000 and two top ranked streamers…..anyways like 8 out of my ten games my opponents had Acuna and Ohtani.
How in the hell do these guys manage to complete TA, the Acuna program and some of them be over 1000 in RS within a week? I feel like the amount I play is unsustainable and I have like eight team affinity players. These dudes must play every second other than when they are asleep.
My bad for making an unnecessary post….just wondered what other people thought.
I wouldn’t be shocked if some of these guys pay someone to do their offline grinding. Not accusing anyone I just know how much it sucks grinding for players -
like this game is some people's life basically, especially some of the streamers. it takes a lot practice and time to get that good
i also think they dont stream constantly simply because its tiring and exhausting. it also might prevent them from completely focusing if its a tough game

It's as easy as having a friend do the grinding while you sleep in a diff timezone

It's very fishy. I don't believe anyone truly dominates this game. If it weren't for the fact the game wasn't very heavy on manipulation code..I think there would be a lot of people that just have the higher level coordination to have an edge.
But, in The Show, a ball is pitched..you swing..and the animation tells you what happened. If it has an agenda for you to miss a high fast-ball you'll be "too late" regardless of who you are.
Yeah, if these "Phenoms" aren't playing online against "normal dudes" there is a reason for that.

Zen and mouse play

Pretty sure already mentioned, but both those cards were very easy to get. I was just waiting on the all star packs to drop for Ohtani. Then he was mine within minutes. Did acuna yesterday and took about an hour and a half because had to play a couple cpu games to get the stats missions done. But moments were very easy and quick.
-
Acuna program took me about 6 or 7 Rookie games against the Orioles...I had finished TA3 in a couple of days with moments, collections and grinding cpu games...

I work more than 40 hours a week and have a two yr old and only play when she's asleep so i get maybe three hours on a good day when my wife is so tired she goes to bed early, some days I don't play at all and I'm done with TA3, using the exchanges is key to completing it easily I think, and I have 8 of ten moments left for Acuna and he is the last card I need for Ohtani.
I did all the missions for Acunia in one game on rookie at CO and no wit is just moments which should take half an hour tops.

I'm not WS caliber but I would have had ohtani done the second it dropped if I wasn't in bed.
I had Accuna done in about 75-90 mins last night.
I finished TA3 the night the content dropped. Exchanges+collections got me 55% completed and 2 hours of showdown finished it off for me.
Of course I didn't have time for anything else since I only get a cpl hours a night/day to play but it was doable. I wouldn't imagine a streamer whose job is to play video games to have a difficult time completing these.
Is it really that easy? I’ve been playing quite a bit and like I said only have eight or nine of the TA3 players. I didn’t the collection for each division from all the cards I already had locked in.
Showdown is easier and shorter than in the past. You can beat approximately three per hour. You can get all the divisions done in like four hours if you do the exchanges and collections. Dont even waste your time on the moments. Showdown is faster. The rest of the acuna program takes and hour. He is very easy to obtain. As far as ohtani you have to spend the stubs or get pack lucky. If you don't ha e the cards by now their prices are very high.

You can get the rookie games done in two games if you set your lineup right. One game for home run derby cards and one game for all star cards. 6 or 7 is a lot. Wonder if you messsed up your lineup or used cards that didn't count.

Zen and mouse play
Good call….does seem a little bit questionable about how plausible zen use is, but a mouse is a different story. I know you can circumvent the system and use a mouse in shooting games, so why not in MLB. It would be pretty easy to point and click at the ball.
Could make sense that a dude would start out a game with a controller and go to the mouse after a few innings if things aren’t going well.

I didn't read the mission criteria correctly...once I did I loaded up with 2021s one game and then with HR derby cards the next and finished it up...I wasn't in a hurry and wasn't trying real hard...

Yeah I need two cards and hoping to get to 40 wins in event is a joke, so I will just save stubs because I don't have to use them for anything now and will buy Mancini and whichever card is next cheapest...gonna cost like 250k but I will get it eventually...

im not a WS player by anymeans lmao but ta3 and all other offline things are so easy and fast to grind stubs are stupid easy to make in this game compared to other ultimate teams. i got ohtani and acuna really fast but they also did come out on my days off and it rained all day lmao

They are both very easy to get. I have acuna but I'm waiting for another price drop to by the rest if the cards for ohtani. I have about 1.6 million stubs right now and that nothing, so people have over 5 million
Acuna is pretty easy. I bought all of the sub 100 K HRD and ASG cards and built a lineup for RS and hit all the missions. Just have to knock out the moments quick. The TA3 is really what I’m curious about. I think one of the dudes I played had Acuna within an hour or two of the drop. These guys are nuts.
I sent you a chat message you will find interesting.

I can’t be bothered with the Ohtani. Too much investment for a card I don’t like to pitch with. I don’t play online enough for a pitchers bat to really matter. Ohtani is only desirable due to his online advantage as a elite bat on the mound. Cool card , just can’t be bothered flipping for hours on end to make the necessary Stubbs to buy the high priced set pieces ( I didn’t pull any card over 97 from packs) when I’ve already buried my head in that particular grind to complete the live series. Acuna was easy as pie if you already had TA3 done , and if you didn’t start TA3 getting the Acuna could be done with a couple days grind. 4-5 hours maybe for TA and another hour or two for the Acuna.
