Looking for some feedback regarding the market. Just trying to understand better. We saw the ASG and HRD cards drop in price yesterday, as would be expected with those free packs in the Acuna program. Curiously, starting last night and really today, those prices have spiked again. In fact, they’ve gone higher than they were previous to the Acuna program release.

Anyone know why that is? I figured they’d stay down a bit with those free packs. (I’m sure more free packs will come at some point, but who knows when?). Just trying to understand (yes, I sold and now need to buy back). I’m no newbie to this game. I think I understand the market workings usually. This one has surprised me with how quick and how high they’ve bounced back. Any thoughts?

People have stopped selling them and are using them to acquire Acuna stats. Once people finish Acuna, they may or may not sell the cards they were using (depending on their interest in Ohtani.)

I wouldn't count on another big price drop until they start hiding in Conquest Maps/Inning Programs/Events, etc.

Yeah, I know they won’t drop again until free packs start showing up again. I was more curious why they spiked so hard after some free packs showed up. Guess people are just holding onto them (or using them, like you said).

I feel like it speaks for the actual drop rate of the rare tier cards. No way is it 1:10 odds per pack. I have 11 people on my friends list who have currently made it far enough to get the free asg and hrd packs. Only 1 of us got a mid round. ZERO rare and all the rest base round. So out of 24 packs including mine, it was 23 base tier and 1 mid.

0.000000025% of the player population. The literal definition of statistical noise.

Wake me when you have 110,000 people on your friends list and run a full and accurate poll on pull rates.

I pulled two rare of the 5 ASG that I bought. One rare in the 5 HRD. That’s beside the point. If everyone was only pulling base, they would be at quicksell value.

I was speaking of the free ones in the Acuna program.

Wake me when you have something to add to any conversation other than a pointless gif.. I was just talking about the free packs from the Acuna program from the people on my friends list. Sorry I don't have the data for you for 110,000 people. I was speaking on My experience alone.
