I bought MLB the show 21 and I cannot play anything online

Hi I bought mlb the show 21 when it came out and. Couldn’t play online so I thought it was a big and would be patched but I’ve waited and waited and still cannot do anything online or with friends

Do you subscribe to XBox Live, or whatever we're calling it these days?

You can only play other players online if you subscribe. You can still play Diamond Dynasty without it, but you're limited to Conquest, Moments, Showdown, Play vs. CPU, etc.
