Troy Glaus online opinions?

I won't be hitting 350k this time around, and the monthly award Sheffield has been awful for me so I was just curious if the diamond hitting/fielding is really there with him. Would consider renting him for a few games if he's the real deal for people.

Dude that sucks that Sheffield isn't working for you. He's my best performer by far. Hitting over .550 with him.

I really like him. Have him hitting clean up. I have 10 HRs in about 75 ABs. Hitting like .410 - Haven't had any errors. Swing is pretty nice imo.

I like Glaus a lot. I’m not a great hitter but I’m hitting .298 with 12 HR with him. He kills lefties

Really? I was excited to see a diamond Sheff this early but his stats were unimpressive to me and he performed much worse than McMahon.
I sold Glaus (Trying for Chipper) so no real experience outside of BR which is a lot of silver/bronze pitchers so hard to give real good feedback. He's probably usuable for most people without Chipper. His contact vs right may be a bit of an issue on higher difficulties but if your in the AS range he should be fine. Kills lefties.
If you don't want to spend the stubs on him, just use POTM Semien or FS Groshans there (Assuming you have other options for 2b/SS)

Faced Glaus last night (Burnes was on the bump) and he hit an inside cutter that still hasn't landed.

Can't hit with him offline or online; online is under .100 in about 20 ABs, offline one HR on a wall scraper down the line.

I use Semien as my 2b and Groshans as my SS. I almost got Glaus because at the time that I got the pack Trea Turner was my SS and I'm also an Angels fan.

You can also use Wander, Paulson (OAK FS) or Mauricio at 3rd. All switch hitters. Paulson ( I may be spelling his name wrong) is a contact/speed guy where Mauricio (mets) is more of a power guy.
