1998 Bernie Williams ALCS MVP, Batting Title Silver Slugger (would also be a great Evolution Candidate)
    Darryl Strawberry
    Derek Jeter

love these choices. just make Jeter a milestone card.

    Derek Jeter 3000 Hits Milestone
    Yogi Berra MVP Card
    Roy Halladay Perfect Game Milestone

    Derek Jeter bench bat?

I'm a Yankees fan. I would happily start Jeter everyday at shortstop. 5x silver slugger, 5x gold glove (much maligned... I know), 14x all-star, most hits all-time by a SS.

1988 Chris Sabo ROY or 1991 AS card
    1990 Jose Rijo PS
    1961 Frank Robinson MVP

Ok, since neither Sabo card would be all that much fun, how about 1994 AS Paul O'Neil. Of course that would be a Yankees card, so I'll take a 1991 BO Paul O'Neil card too.

The Future Stars 1987 Bo Jackson is a must

Kevin Mitchell 1986 Topps ...IDK why

    1989 Billy Ripken Fleer haha

First off, lol at Billy Ripken card, classic.

89 Mitchell MVP would be sick, if they got his rights, and an IV 1994 with the Reds would be great as well.

Kevin "Only the mailman walks" Mitchell... give me an 89 MVP card. He was a stud for a bit.

30/30 Howard Johnson. Probably 1989 but 1991 would be okay and either could be a silver slugger card too.

    Bo Jackson

    Tim Hudson

I'd dump every stub I've ever had into a Perfect Game Halladay Card, or Cy Young Halladay card. He's currently my CAP pitcher.

As a Jays fan, I have two other fun ones:

Jose Bautista 54 dinger season card
Marco Estrada card from his unreal season

    • I know both those cards were in 17, but I didn't play back then. Would be great to have them as retiree cards.

as a fun one, a retro Muni Kawasaki walkoff card would be fun and glitchy to play with

It’s to bad you didn’t play then, Jose Bautista is my CAP right now but it’s not the same without the 7th inning bat flip animation. His card is my all time favourite. Estrada however never got any love in this game, not even when his op batting average was along side Prime Kershaw for over a year.

97 Dustin Pedroia 2008 MVP Card
    96 Bo Jackson 1989 Breakout
99 Barry Bonds 73 Home Runs (Yeah it wont happen but it'd be awesome)

Hey would you mind if I used your thread to source the list I'm creating in my thread ?(https://forums.theshow.com/topic/39540/official-legendary-historical-player-wishlist-tally?page=1)

I'm trying to create a master list/tally for player requests. Feel free to jump on and vote there as well.
