Man… have we ever needed a new Inning Program
-
The inning bosses have been uninspiring so far. 1st inning was pretty good with Lofton and Valenzuela (I've never had good results with Piazza), but the 2nd and 3rd innings were meh. Good RPs, little else.
I know those will get better but I have no confidence that inning rewards overall will be good. Lots of content is feeling mailed in at this point.
TA programs are the best content they release. I don't think it's even close.

Just lime last year, we didn’t see our first 99’s until I believe the 4th or 5th inning. That’s when it gets fun
-
So many low tier cards that will never play

I’ve been trying to make it interesting by trying to parallel Orioles’ players. The only one I have at P5 is veteran Jim Palmer. Now I’m working on Prospect Grayson Rodriguez, Topps Now John Means, and Zack Britton. Cedric Mullins and Ryan Mountcastle have been fun to plug in too.
That sounds like the opposite of fun. J/k, I feel like for the average player the content schedule is perfect. For hardcore players I don’t think there will ever be enough content. I’m right in the middle. And I too am eagerly awaiting the next inning.
I think the content schedule has been great so far, it’s just a stretch where none of the players appeal to me.

The content has been steady but the content has also been STALE.
I can’t wait for the new inning program. Ever since TA2 there hasn’t really been any game changing type players added. Not to mention the already weak inning program we’re in now.
The 4th Inning can’t come soon enough and I hope TA3 is close behind it.
I definitely got bored with the game for the first time over the last week or so.

I’m looking forward to not seeing the same lineup in every RS game.

I really wish they would add some extensions to the collections. Except for the 42 series, I have everything collected.

Offline.

content has been perfect for me so far... I think if anything I'm skipping some stuff to keep up with it. If your a casual player 2-3 hours played each day... the content has been fine. If you are playing the game like its your job 6-8 hours a day... no game is gonna keep you busy enough unless your playing H2H most of the time.To those who have all the Team affinities done, every inning maxed out, all the collections complete... its not that the content is stale, its just you play too much. There has to be a little balance in the game between casual players and hardcore grinders... because the majority of people just dont have the time to committ to videogames 30 hours a week.

I’ve been playing way more offline and I’m starting to enjoy the game again. I even created a stadium and had fun doing it. The online grind this year just isn’t appealing. So like one of the guys I started paralleling guys, seeing how far I can hit home runs, created some theme teams, played the market to see how much money I could make, etc. There is plenty to do if you add some imagination to it.
-
Yeah the content hasn’t been great.
I ground my way to Zach Britton and I’m never doing dailies again. He is god [censored] awful.
All I’m doing now is grinding my way to 40 RS wins (up to 32) I enjoy playing the game but it’s starting to get a bit stale. Need some more things to do.
Even the WS rewards at 40 wins. I don’t really want either player that much but hey it’s free stubs I guess.
Roll on Friday!

Solid post! I really dont care how someone spend their time. I know a lot of good players that have every collection done and every good card acquired will never be happy. Not jealous, they put in the time and effort.
Myself on the other hand only have all the team affinity stuff done so I will focus my time on ranked. Great balance for me. If a game doesnt feel like a game for me and it becomes stale or stressful, time for something else.
From an outsiders view, I recommend having a 2-3 games in rotation.

Yeah, just as I finished everything and can play online without worrying about stats I play (or the game is or both) like doo-doo.

It’s not the amount of content I feel is lacking, it’s the kind of content. There’s plenty to do and plenty I haven’t finished, but for what? Some Topps Now cards or some mediocre player programs? Even grinding the Inning Program is just to get some packs at this point. Grind the event for an Olerud?
I can always just hop in ranked and have fun because I love baseball so I’m not complaining that I’m bored necessarily. The content just seems very bland right now. I can’t even imagine what it’s like for offline players.
Also, have you ever thought about how much content there is outside of moments? What great content have we had in the last 3 weeks that didn’t involve moments?
-
I like to have a few days break when I end the program myself
-
Yeah I went out an grinded the BR program so I finished that (didn't go 12-0). I have been putting off the USA map, so thats my next goal until the inning drop.

Same here. I’m going to hit 650 tonight then take a break outside daily moments until the next inning drops.

July should be good, hopefully an all star promo packs/collection an another big collection like Mo.
definitely agree content seems stale it's just the same thing over an over again -
Have to agree with some of the sentiment here. A million moments to do are not exciting. The cards we keep seeing are cards that won’t make most lineups. The mega collections are cool, but that doesn’t feel like a grind, just stub spending/accumulation to acquire. We need more mega cards built behind an epic grind to get. Drop some insane Griffey or something behind a long grind, something to play for, where you’re excited to play towards an epic reward. Nothing feels like that now, just feels like tasks to complete
