Truth or Dare

Start out with some real truth - I'm a huge fan of this game. I've always been a big MLB gaming fan..played Strat-o-matic, PtP, etc. growing up. RBI Baseball, Baseball Stars, on consoles later. Those games, obviously, never had any semblance of realism..arcade games as they were marketed.
Then at some point I hear about this new game on the Sony platform. Every expert, review, magazine, etc. said it was hands down..the very best. I was intrigued. I actually switched from Xbox 360 to PS2 just to play it.
For about 6 years I only played Franchise..never online. In about 2015, I guess, I stumbled into DD. Was hooked. Been playing ever since.
Now I may, or may not, have spent a career in the gaming industry myself as Computer Operator, entry-level programmer, programmer analyst, systems analyst, manager, and then administrator. I may or may not have gotten an MS in Management of Info Systems. I may not understand even a little bit about gaming software.
But, I've been around enough to know how IT shops work. If they don't know about a problem, they can't fix it. If they aren't egregiously made aware of it..they may not fix it even if they know about it. But, seen this many times, if a company is called out in the court of public opinion..absorb a little humiliation and maybe, sometimes, unwarranted criticism..they respond.
I, truthfully, want this game to be the best it can be. Have a vested interest in it.
So, that's the truth. I dare ya to say it ain't.

I'm always for every game I play to be the best it can be. Don't know if hammering on forums work, but if it makes you feel better go for it. And if it works, I commend you.

I've not finished the Semien thing yet. But, I've had a few others I've chased that have turned into duds. Do like your creative analogy though. Wish I had read it before it was censored.
