Why do we see things like this?

Is it so difficult to write code that matches real life MLB. How does something like the following get past QA?
I'm chasing the Wander Moment. Tally 4 TB. On my first attempt I come up in the 6th inning with one out. Hit a warning-track jobber. Boston is up 11-2 so I'm sure I'll bat again in the 9th anyway. It's just how the numbers work out..at least 10 more TB batters will bat after me making the 2nd out in the 6th.
Nope..game ends 11-2. Try Again. C'mon developers!
-
If you were the 3rd out in that at bat the coding is right and you didn't get up again as the remaining outs were made before you came up again.
-
I'm glad your name isn't math prodigy. The math checks out bud.
-
Double doink…
- not figuring out the math
- coming on here and blaming the game
-
So, since the 3 of you that replied are obviously not paying attention yourselves or trying to spread good tidings about the game..let's just break it down..shall we. Get our your abacus's dudes. Fingers and toes..doesn't matter.
I bat in the bottom of the 6th inning with one out. I make the 2nd out. There is one out left in that inning. There are 3 innings after that, each with at least 3 possible AB's. That is 10 AB's. There are only 9 batters on a baseball team (or did you guys not know that part?). If so, that's all right, mistakes happen. Ignorance even happens.
Now, I will give you the extremely unlikely, but possible scenario that a Cat 5 hurricane may have come through and ripped the roof off of Tropicana's domed stadium. Perhaps Wander was taken out because he's really too young and unprepared to play at MLB level..basically sucks and had to be pinch hit for. Many scenarios, but the box score at the end of the game didn't indicate any of that.
So, why don't you all try to do the math again yourself?
-
- You obviously have something wrong. No way the game suddenly doesn’t count outs properly, so you have detail(s) wrong
- 4 TB’s with Wander should take like 5 tries on a bad day, so that’s like 5-6 minutes maybe? Could’ve gotten that done in the time it took to post this.
- “Warning track” doesn’t have a hyphen
- Nobody knows what a “warning track jobber” is, nor was it relevant to your lame story

Because your story problem doesn't check out bud. And yes, you can start a sentence with a preposition (since we are apparently in smarty pants mode today).

So, since you are living in a fantasy land that presumes this game always gets the numbers right. It doesn't. It's been screwing up box scores ever since it came out. Box score will show 4 runs and 9 hits for a team. You look at the details and there is only 3 RBI's and 8 hits, no errors.
I know this to be true because I spent some time (boring) pouring over some online box scores. About 1 in 10 have at least some discrepancy.
This game does a lot wrong. And, thank you, just gave me another forum to mention other failures in this game.
About 1 in 10 posts out here mention the failures..the other 9 gush about new Moments, best 3B, best catcher, the magnificence of pinpoint pitching, blah, blah.
So, I'm of that 10% minority that like to point out the obvious goofs. Some one has to do it.

But guys, he's a prodigy!!

Relatively speaking..I suppose I am. By relatively, I mean some of you other Einstein's that can't count. No offense.

Maybe don't screw up by putting an apostrophe where it doesn't belong when insulting people's intelligence?
But you WERE referring to math, not language, so...
Seriously, I enjoy your energy. You like to [censored] talk, but in a weirdly pro-social way. Nice.

Guarantee that TB was up 11-2 and OP has it backwards lol 100%

Funny thing on your point #1. Daily moment yesterday (Cruz vs Bleyven) and it took me like 40 at bats. Everything I hit died at the warning track, was a straight line out, a single or double or a pop up. I couldn't string two doubles or a double/two singles together. Then I hit a HR on a ball off my PCI to left center. This game is trash bro

You definitely got this wrong here. 9 out of 10 posts here are basically someone bitching about something.

The real humor is that he couldn't get a HR with a juiced Wander.
It took less time to do all the Wander moments, than getting two hits with my Ballplayer.
I don't have a CAP, so that's why it took 5 tries.
-
This thread makes me hate being alive. Wait… no… it just makes me hate when idiots are alive.

I got a HR in the 2nd event first time through. Moments really have nothing to do with skill. It's about as random as the game gets..and it gets pretty random. Think in terms of a slot-machine. Pull it and sometimes you get cherries first time..sometimes no.

Ain't no doubt I screw up the King's English at times, but I never called someone out on a simple math issue (specially when it's related to MLB stats) when they were right and I was just to dense to see it.
Only time I call anyone out is when I'm as sure as I can be I'm right. Otherwise it makes ya look pretty silly.

Rest assured this happened.
Anytime I've ever brought in video/images from the game to back up true bugs I've encountered I've gotten banned. There are gatekeepers that just can't handle the truth..when you show it to them they get all baby-like, probably kick their feet, stick out a pouty lip, and hit the ban button. When that's your only weapon...
But seriously, any of us that have zero dogs in the promoting-the-Show fight, have seen so many instances of poor programming we just become oblivious to it.
Shake our heads, maybe laugh sarcastically out loud, and just move on. Hope that the great SDS pendulum in the sky swings our way next time.
I was just semi-bored today and decided to journal just those I encountered today.
To be quite honest, I hope someone that knows someone that knows someone is taking detailed notes and these bugs get addressed before the next great version comes out.

Just wondering but am I the only one noticing that he calls himself a prodigy yet continually insults all of us yet somehow its the game's fault he can't count?
