But I was told that Gabe Kapler is a complete [censored] as a coach and it was his fault the Phillies were not reaching their potential
There's only so much a guy can do with little leaguers for a bullpen.

Not enough mirrors in the clubhouse for Gabe to look into

We hadn't gotten any giants topps now or POTM until somewhat recently, and thank you sds for finally giving us some recognition.
I have a feeling that there are probably fans of more than a few teams that could say that their team has been ignored in Topps Now and POTM cards.
The Braves and Nationals, for example, have had 0 cards between POTM and Topps Now
The Marlins, Angels, Astros, Mets, Pirates, and Diamondbacks only have 1 cards between those card types.
Several more teams, including Cardinals and Royals, have 2 cards in those categories so Giants were not ignored any moreso than other teams.

I know that Topps now doesn't base the cards based off record. Although I think it does indirectly because the more success a team has, the more "notable moments" occur, allowing you to make Topps Now cards of them, but I digress. But you would think that having the best record in the MLB in a division with the Padres and Dodgers would warrant more cards, as the Giants have had plenty of noteworthy performances (Disco (ik he got one today), Alex Wood, Logan Webb, Tyler Rogers, Cueto, Lamonte Wade, Yaz's Grand Slam the other night after coming back from down 7-0. I understand that he already has a 42 series so he ain't gonna get a card, but like the others are bronzes, commons, and silvers) The majority of the teams you have listed have been underachieving/ under .500. Like not to cherry pick, but I am, please tell me how exactly you can make a Topps now for a team on a 14 game loosing streak. The D-backs haven't won in over 2 weeks. Basically you can't do that, you need wins to create "moments" if that makes sense, or at least that's how I view it.

Even losing teams can have individual performances worthy of a Topps Now card.
How about this line score for David Peralta back in April in a Diamondbacks extra inning win against CinD. Peralta LF
5-6, 2 R, 7 RBI, HR, 3BI'm not taking anything away from the SF players who have those cards but you can't say that the other teams fans don't have legitimate reasons to complain as well when outstanding performances like that are not rewarded. The overall record should make no difference

They are winning regular season games with terrible hitting and average pitching. They will come back to earth

The best thing that ever came out of Philly sports was Allen Iverson. Just my personal opinion.
No Mark Warburg too. When he made the Eagles in that one movie. That counts too, doesn’t it?

That's what they've been saying since we were at 20 wins..... Still best record in the MLB but it's fine. Terrible hitting, but somehow in the middle of the pack in average(13th), tied for second in home runs, 7th in runs, 6th in OPS. We are about average at hitting, but definitely wouldn't call it below average....
Fourth in ERA, tied for first in WHIP, allowed the fifth fewest home runs, and are the one of the best defensive teams in the game... So average pitching? I don't think so. Our run differential is also comparable to the dodgers, and much better than the padres, but somehow people will say the padres are better lol ok. Keep hating on us just be ready to eat your words come to the postseason

Giants are playing out of their league right now. Expect them to go on a losing streak like the Dodgers and Padres did. I expect them to be back 5+ games behind 1st place by the All-Star break. They can still be 1-2 wildcard teams.

As a Rangers fan we tend to get pooped on quite often but the Topps cards this year have given us some great ones. It just seems to be a theme that every one we get has low vision but high power lol. Either way I'm not complaining.
