Although Santana has 10 points higher in contact and power versus righties, Weiters is not bad at hitting. Serviceable versus righties and great versus lefties.
The defense Wieters provides is toooo valuable with all the speed on the bases. Buxton, Robinson, Puason and so on. If they don't get a lead , its a good chance he will throw out the base runner.
Can not lose if the other team never scores.

I hit really well with him. Was stoked to see his card back this year. Wish his contact was better vs righties but he’s just a lefty killing 8-hole hitter that’s not going to clog the base paths so I don’t mind

I don’t think it’s silly at all. If ain’t broke don’t fix it. I think a lot of people just feel the itch to replace players they’re good with just because. Grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

Yermin was such a monster at the plate. It was hard to let him go, but I get compulsive and can’t get myself to have a gold player in my lineup with all diamonds. If he was an 85, I’d still have him in there!

Lol for real but for me his defense was just to bad. Couldn’t take it anymore

Gary Sanchez has the best arm I have used he throws everyone out. Hits nukes but has a low vision. Low levels Gary is amazing. Higher levels his hitting could be suspect.
